Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

In a weird case of fiction becomes reality - less than 15 minutes ago I killed one of my roosters. He was persistent in jumping on my stuff as I was unpacking from hunting. After chasing him away several times, I kicked toward him, and he tried giving me the spurs. I got hold of a wing in mid air, and grabbed his neck, tucking him under my arm so he couldn't move. I rung his neck, which the rest of the flock found a bit disturbing while watching from under the pine trees.
Chicken. It's what's for dinner.

Dad
Is that you? TF sounds like something my dad would have done:D

well yeah...it's Brent. Does he do anything right? :)

So...since we're talking about lodge Mafia and the hierarchy, who is below Ralph then, since we know he's the Godfather? Are GLM and I the legbreakers? Is BPH the bootlegger? Is the Commie the guy that's in the family that we all want to shoot but we can't cause he's family?

I think once upon a time I was the Godmother of the Rep Mafia.

RE: Luca Brasi -- I really don't like the movie portrayal of that character. In the book he is absolutely ruthless and would never act as sissy as he does around Don Corleone. They are, in fact, very good friends. After reading the book and knowing the kinds of things that Brasi did behind the scenes, the movie character just didn't work for me.

Well, in the movie there was a little problem:

According to imdb:

The actor playing Luca Brasi, Lenny Montana, was so nervous about working with Marlon Brando that, in the first take of their scene together, he flubbed some lines. Francis Ford Coppola liked the genuine nervousness and used it in the final cut. The scenes of Brasi practicing his speech were added later.

That probably explains it. Minus that scene, I'd say he was pretty ruthless/cold.

Double, but with good reason:

Mookie????

(570): I just made this asian woman on the boardwalk that was giving 20 dollar massages upset after I asked her if a happy ending comes with it.

If this is the Godfather-Why am I connie?:( she was a wuss from what I remember, whining about stuff I would have ripped the guys jewels off for... if it isn't I am hopelessly lost....

and speaking of jewels- my auntie was shocked to learn that some men put diamonds up the side of their dingaling. We heard about it all week end. it was a hoot!
