Water wiffle ball?

Batter stands on the dock, everyone else is in the water. You get a hit, you dive in and swim to first (or beyond). The bases tend to wander, and the rules aren't exactly set in stone. This year, we didn't have many fielders, so we just ruled certain hits HRs or Doubles.

Gotta have a decent sized pool, then.

don't hurt my faith in the subway... I want to get rid of my car. (Definitely leaking brake fluid...)

That wasn't the problem. I was out bike riding and, because of the heat, decided to take the Metro home from Dunn Loring and not ride the last about 15 miles. They were fixing track and sending trains in both directions on a single track. That amounted to a half-hour delay. The train was packed due to Nationals fans going to a game which caused me to have to stand while trying to keep both me and my bike upright. It wasn't fun. At least the air conditioning was working. :)

Beautiful weekend for Hoserfest this weekend. Did a little tubing, played a little water wiffle ball (yours truly with the walk-off HR), had some food, cruised around in the boat, burned some stuff. Good times. I missed 'Ewe, though.

weed:p

We used to play ball tag on the lake with no gouls. Now we would all have a coronary.:D

Lesson for today: it's not fun when it's 2:30 am, it's 74 degrees, and it's 87% humidity. Just putting that out there.

MI, you're next. :p

The trip to China prepared me for this weather. Luckily I missed out on the typhoon. The night I got in to Shenzhen it was after midnight and in the high 80's and humid as *.

Hi Lodge.

Why does the weekend always disappear so quickly?

I slept most of mine away. Took a nap Friday night from 7-11:30 and then was up until 3:30. Yesterday was my nephew's 4th birthday party. Then today I slept until 11 AM. Dishes and laundry are done and burgers are about to get cooked for the week.
