Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Does anyone know what might be in the box in the hotel labeled "high grade puke"?

I am curious. This sleazy feeling hotel I'm at (as in, I felt dirtier after using the shower) has a basket of items for purchase on the night stand. Condoms, underwear and something labeled "high grade puke". Cost is 10 RMB for the puke (about $1.50). It's in a box that's probably 4x5x1 inch. Kind of heavy for a box of that size.

I am very glad I only had to stay in this hotel 1 night. And at least they have internet.

For $1.50, I say buy it and find out. Worst case, you're grossed out and only out $1.50.

Cut a hole in the box...

Evening lodge, got into St. Clair about 2 hours ago or so, have a shuttle service getting me at 0430 to bring me to Detroit for my 10am flight. Yes, thats way early, but they had a couple other people to bring there for earlier flights than mine, and it's the best they could do. Guess I'll be sleeping in the airport and on the plane.

High Grade Puke should just be poker cards.

Edit: the other possibility would be confections (dessert food), but that's doubtful since it says "high grade".

*muah ha ha* The secret plan of converting you to BU fandom is working!
Meh, it's more Cornell red than BU scarlet...

Not that I'd ever root for Cornell.

BPH, re your rep....he is still a masterful player on the twelve string. Thirty five years ago, as well as today, his voice could only be catagorized as raspy--at best. When it comes to playing six or twelve string guitar he was, and is, as good as anyone of his generation. It was an entertaining performance last night to a crowd of about eleven hundred in a venue which holds twelve hundred.
He played a show at my high school back in '94, in our auditorium that sat about 500 people. It was a pretty great show.

Ah... back into the mood to give my car a viking funeral... I have 2 weeks between now and the end of school... while it isn't totally acting up its giving me enough problems which I just want to avoid.

I'm seriously thinking about selling this car once I hit Virginia and going without a car. I can do it where I'll be living and I'll be taking the subway to work.

Not sure how happy I am about relatives following me on Twitter.

Oh well, they should have known better if they end up offended! :D

ugh -- total caffeine crash... :o
I had one of those today too. Crashed right at about 3 PM.

<---- is sick of job hunting.
So am I... but if it's what I need to do to get out of Sam's Club, oh well.

Excellent. Where can one hear a sample of his work?

Evening, Lodge. feels good to be tired at the end of the day, instead of hopped up on 7 cups of coffee...

My thoughts would be a fake rubber puke perhaps, but the confection ideas might be right. If nothing more, its a buck 50 or so. Cheap enough for curiosities sake.

Oh, and do you have a ride from the Airport on Wednesday yet??

Wheeeeee, can't sleep, and my ride to the Airport arrives at 0430! Looks like I'll be the guy sleeping on the plane, in the airports, and in the car on the way home from Syracuse!

Ralph, just in case: I'll be in white shorts, a red polo and a brown hat at Reagan, just in case we cross paths. Safe flight back home, same to you wT =]

I'll be short and old (for a USCHO poster). I would tell you what color clothing I'll be wearing if I was not colorblind. :)
