Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I'll be short and old (for a USCHO poster). I would tell you what color clothing I'll be wearing if I was not colorblind. :)

Hm, I suppose that would present a problem, huh?

Sidenote: 1 week until my 21st. I can hear my liver screaming at me already. ;) :o

I will be pulling a carry-on suitcase and carrying a notebook computer bag, but so will everyone else. I will be arriving on the USAirways shuttle.

That does not compute!!!!

It wasn't the thing to do years ago, and I just haven't bought one. Even if I had one, I probably wouldn't have taken it to NYC. I do have an 09 FF t-shirt with me, but I won't wear it. :)

Nah, never went to Canada during the 3 months. And we're only unloading for 12 hours or so, but pretty much nobody has vehicles here. It's all good, I plan on making up for lost time =]

headed east, essentially.

Morning, sleep on the airplane will be great, in the airport will be good, in the car will be spectacular.

And, in a "typical luck" story, it doesn't look like this flight is overbooked, but yesterdays was. Maybe I'll get lucky on the DC-Syracuse flight and get some vouchers on the Company's dime:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Good Morning Lodge.

I took a hockey stick to the eyebrow last night.:( Working the bench in a peewee 3 on 3 game, was opening the door for a kid and he was careless with his stick. More my fault for being distracted, I'm usually good at watching for the odd swinging stick. Kid who caught me might have the least hockey sense of any kid I've seen. He's played with my son for two seasons and while I've seen worse skaters, worse coordination, etc., this kid is tops for not getting it. After two seasons of squirts he still never understood offsides (fortunately no offsides or icing in 3 on 3) and just doesn't understand his responsibilities on the ice. Nice kid, nice parents (and dad who played and still plays) but no hockey sense (or soccer for that matter).

Worst part of getting hit - I shouldn't have even been there. My kid wasn't playing cause he had soccer tryouts. But no other dads were going to be there. Not much coaching in 3 on 3, but someone has to organize a little and open doors on the bench so I went.

Those must be some dumb kids to not be able to figure out how to open the doors to the bench.
