Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Morning! Another day, another attempt at being superwoman! Yesterday, got up early, dropped car at the new place, went to work, stayed an extra hour, went to the new place painted for just under 2 hours, washed everything up, picked up friend and her husband and their houseguest, took them to the husband's performance (he plays acoustic guitar and banjo at a local open mic night), took pictures, and drove them home at 1:30am.

Got up this morning, dropped off the car at the new place, working, then heading to the mall to get ... undergarments for the dress I'm wearing to a wedding this weekend and then finishing painting the bedroom and the kitchen.

Thank goodness tomorrow is an easy day (up early, drop car at parking lot off 93), work, date. :)

'ewe- And I thought I was awesome for waking up, folding laundry and doing the dishes...

plane just rolled up to the gate, checking off until I get to DC, probably before noon.

USAirways cancelled the 10AM LGA-DCA flight, but since I was there early, I got on the 9 AM flight, and thus got to DC before you. I assume those who got there later got on the 11AM flight.

Type in Leo Kottke. Click on any of the releases there and listen to as many samples as you'd like.
Thank you!

Awesomeness, both of you!

Good morning, Lodge. Went for a 6 mile run this morning, and it looks like I'm making pork tenderloin, sauteed spinach and garlic, and either quinoa or mashed potatoes for dinner tonight.

Bob -- if it's not too much trouble, could you post how you prepare quinoa in the Cooks thread? I've made it twice and found it really...dusty? and unappetizing, but I hear great things about it.

Those must be some dumb kids to not be able to figure out how to open the doors to the bench.

Some are, like the kid who clocked me. It's a mix of first year peewees and squirts and some are too short to easily reach over the boards and open the door. I also adjusted the order of the line to balance the skill level, we had 3 C players out there at one point and gave up three goals on that shift.

Good Morning Lodge.

I took a hockey stick to the eyebrow last night.:(
Oddly enough, the guy standing in front of my net with his back to me on Sunday night took a stick to his lip and I took 2 minutes. What a coincidence!

Today is my Friday. I am looking forward to getting away for a week or so. The clock is moving very slowly today...................
