Just got out of the river, headed down lake huron for the last time. 36 hours from now, I'll be having Five Guys from the Reagan National airport.:p

Didn't know you rolled like that. Not that there is anything wrong with it. :D

We'll be in DCA at about the same time, but I certainly won't be one of the five guys. :D

Now, now, I'm pretty sure hockeyplayer1015 isn't a former senator from Idaho.

You never know......

And I hate to admit, but Pawn Stars on HIST is kinda cool. BPH, you'd love tonight's episode. Brought it a 1909 West Point uni of a General Griswold? Authentic. My fave: the 1951 NYY team auto'd baseball. Guy stated his selling price, and even I laughed. I made my guess, and then the pawn guy put his price out. In order: $3500, $1500, $800. And I know that the pawn guy was really lowballing him (usually it's a sorta lowball but not ridiculous, like in this case).

There was no way, whatsoever, to phrase it so it didn't set everybody up for the home run out of the park.

Ralph, I land at approx 1130, when is your flight due in?

And you set it up in probably the best way possible. :D

When I worked up on the docks of Mackinaw Island, it was tradition on your last day of work for everybody to grab ya and toss ya off the dock when you were done. I actually missed out on that tradition because our CEO was there that day on the dock and all of the Dockporters knew not to screw around when he was around or else they would be stuck working the Star Line docks then. :p Don't suppose they're going to do that to you are they?? :D

I doubt it, there's a pretty swift current at the dock.

****!!! When in the hell did you become a member of the Penalty Box??
Oh man, the first part of the night was an open bar. I had six or seven beers. The bride and groom purchased $1500 worth of open bar, and we knocked that out at 7:30, I'm told. After that, I don't really know how much I had to drink, but when it became a cash bar I distinctly remember doing five rounds of Jag Bombs (might have been more), and I always had a whiskey Coke on hand throughout the night.

Thankfully Brainerd's a cheap place to drink, even at a wedding reception. After tipping out the bartender, it only cost me about $140 on the night, and I bought three six-shot rounds. I seem to buy a lot of rounds when I get hammered.

Who says they have to be docked to do it?? Don't you have to slow down before entering a port area?? Be a good time to toss ya over the rail then, especially if they gotta wait for another ship to pass or a tug to arrive.

Nah, it's right on the St. Clair River, and who uses tugs these days? All you need is a bow thruster =]

Morning, Lodge.
Have a safe trip, Ralph. You as well, hockeyplayer...

Off to drop the car off at the new apartment before going to work.
