Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Hey! Guess who's not going exploring/running at Curt Gowdy State Park on this beautiful weekend because his car thermostat went?

You know, assuming you don't know what you're doing with a car, it should only take your two hours to fix, and about $15. How does that kill an entire day or even weekend?

I was at a wedding yesterday in Brainerd. At 4:30, when the open bar started, so did my buddy and me. At midnight, when they made last call, so did my buddy and I.

The best decision I made all weekend was to get a hotel room across the parking lot from the reception hall. It has the weirdest sensation this morning. I had to OPEN my eyes to keep the room from spinning. It usually goes the other way around for me.

He's an engineer, can he fix it with math? No, guess someone else will have to do it:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I'm still willing and interested in hosting a group on Saturday, August 15th. Is anyone else still interested? I know Brent and BPH are out of town that weekend, so it should be a good time here :p ;)

Let us know how the c0ckfest goes. :p though the chicken will probably taste great

I'm a Civil, I just contract it out to someone else.

Hence the Zilwaukee Bridge.

Evening, Lodge. The real Army invaded the fort today. And they didn't even leave sandwiches like normal. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I almost bought that DVD today...but I ran out of RMB. :(

Hi Lodge. I can't decide if I should do work or sleep or watch tv. I have a bunch of files I should go through because I only have tomorrow morning in Shenzhen and then I fly to Shanghai and go visit another supplier for a few days.

Went out sight-seeing and shopping today. Got a picture with the guy that has been our guide/translator/manufacturing rep. He says he's going to show it to his friends and brag about his American girlfriend.
He probably says that to all of his american women. Loves em and leaves em. ;)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Because I haven't seen any. Though I did see a 15 year old (or so) wearing way too short of a dress and way too much make-up. She looked like a hooker, and this was at 10 am.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Morning Lodge.

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you guys: my sister is off the market. Her boyfriend took her up to the top of Sleeping Bear Dunes in his tricked-out Bronco and proposed to her.

I can't lie, that's actually pretty cool. Congrats to her.

Wow. Just... wow.

Anyone know what the deal is with XYZ? He keeps leaving me rep with little notes like:

I explained a while ago that I wasn't going to correct typos in that thread because I was going to use those posts as a record of my rehab. There's nothing to indicate he's joking, but maybe I'm missing something.

He better be joking, or I'm gonna call neg rep jihad on him.

'Evening, Lodge! I'm moved in to my new place and I couldn't be happier!! :)

let us judge her age.....:cool:

(couple years ago a buddy of mine was over there and had a "Lost In Translation" moment:p )

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I had to do the same thing earlier tonight. I could not agree more.

I'm glad you finally sent 'ewe's boyfriend home - we don't need that kind of inter-Lodgian drama. ;)

Seriously though - I was the boyfriend that had to go home from his gf almost a week ago, and it still sucks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

all this talk about new places... i'm practically ready to throw all my stuff in the car and get going.

17 days to the defense...
37 until move in day...
43 until I start working...

one day at a time... one day at a time...

Seriously though i have no idea how I'm going to decorate my place once I get it.... want to do so many things... so many ideas... no knowledge on how to do most of it... I wanna do it now! I wanna do it now! :)

I've been getting an itch to get a new place, but then I look at what I have, and I'm rather content. First time since I lived (with a roommate) in a house that I've been at the same place for more than 2 years.
