You idiot. Of course they didn't cut up his body. That would devalue all the cuts of meat. They roasted him whole, ya moron. Add a few fava beans and a nice Chianti and there ya go. :D :D :D
Holy cow! ASaaG? Is that you?

I thought you retired from typing posts longer than 4-5 words a few weeks ago! (I mean I hoped you retired from...)

No word on the job search yet, by the way (of course).

KC!

Could you tell me again the name/number of that place that can stitch names, numbers, CCHA patches, etc. on Michigan jerseys? I've got to get ready for the Anchorage games on 9-10 October!

Have 'em stitch this . It's more than fitting. :D

I'll dig it up if I can remember where I put the info... Also see info regarding your trip in the Michigan thread.

I was waiting for you on that whole conversation tangent. :p

I may be a complete stranger around here these days, but my visits are at least somewhat timely :D

Everything good?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Pan-roasted chicken legs for dinner tonight (with a side of beef-flavored ramen with a bit of teriyaki "Soy Vey" mixed in). Quite tasty!
Beats a spinach/feta/tomato frittata and english muffin for dinner.

At least I managed to get a nap in today; it was wonderful.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

"Anchor" meaning stop in place? Or head to a nearby port? Can a ship withstand waves better when anchored out to sea (as opposed to sailing on through them)?

yes.

the navy in norfolk heads out when hurricanes are thought to have a chance to make landfall near them.

now lil' old sailboats and such need to get a tow out the water and drive a couple hundred miles inland to be safe!!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Phone rang. Important incoming call from my people. Try it now, wise guy.
Wow, I musta hit the nail pretty close to the head, eh?

How's our Union's 2nd-most beautiful state doing these days?

Thanks, KC! At your convenience.

No, it doesn't. At least, not on this end. Wanna come make me a birthday dinner?? There's a party store down the road if that helps influence your decision.

Busy, man. Just busy. Ya know, that's good though. It means I'm still employed, and still really like my job :D Just waiting for October to roll around again...

That Colorado trip is about the only time I'd burn for vaca in the summer. Good stuff! Some time to visit, and get away from the monotony of a routine.

Mostly good. Once I get my tee shots to copoperate with the rest of my golf game everything will be copacetic.

How's life in the fast lane of West Texas?

What, are you going to make him run to the store to get the ingredients?

I'm not sure you understand how good pan-roasted chicken is (ignore the ramen, though Soy Vey is awesome, and makes it more than just "ramen"). Unless you just don't like chicken. Then I can understand.

Me too. Get to see two newly-engaged couples, all friends of mine (and I'm the best man in one of the weddings), spend some non-hockey-season time in CO ;) , and get a break from the grind. Gonna be great. I promise to try and drive-by post, although THAT could be interesting.......

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

It's about time you got back in here.

Yeah, well. I'd love to say I'm back from an extended vacation, but reality probably dictates otherwise. Too much stuff going on, and relatively little time to devote otherwise. It's not gonna slow down much until late October, which really happens to work out perfectly. I've come to the conclusion after my first year at this job that November-February will be slow time. Couldn't be happier about that.

Best man, huh? Did they already have the bar open when they made that decision? :D

I'd tell you to enjoy the trip, but that doesn't seem like it'll be much of a problem.
