Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

quiet day in here. Highlight of my round was a par on a 3, hit an 8 iron to about 15 feet, then tap in par... that was about it though:o

For my first round in a year, and 3rd in the past 2 years (busy with school) I guess I played alright. The rental clubs weren't really anything special either, 1,3W, 5-P, so my ideal club selections of the high irons weren't available, but it was a great day to be out on the course.

Oh, and I feel really bad for Watson... great chance to hit it within 30 feet on 18 and hits it long then can't get up and down. I think he just ran out of gas, but a great showing nonetheless.

So, the noisy upstairs neighbors were down by the pool today. The wife comes out wearing - get this - a BC Super Fan tshirt. Of course. Not sure if they know I'm the one living downstairs from them. Maybe. I wasn't 100% sure it was them, but they wound up leaving after an hour and he went out on their balcony so I was able to confirm. They brought down bath towels and laid out on the hot concrete. On the smallest portion of the pool deck. The couple that is always down there with me on weekends were right next to them and literally had to climb over them to get into the pool. So I'm not the only one they're annoying. :) But really, a Super Fan. Why not?

Just one more peice of evidence against the obnoxious BC fans:p Someone needed to stumble while carrying a red Mountain Dew or Gatorade as they stepped over them. WHere is your creativity??

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

248oria has had a mixed bag of weather in the past 3 days. Clouds, sun, rain, etc. This would be typical for Michigan, if it wasn't mid-July. Ordinarily, we'd be starting in on the late July to mid-August dog days about now.

I don't miss the humidity though. :)
Yeah, not that I'm complaining about it either. I would just like to see a little more rain around here just to cut the dust down and water the lawn and beanfield.

'Evening, Lodge!

So, I usually like small towns. However, today I visited a small town that gave me a super creepy vibe. Like, I expected to hear banjo music. And which small UP town am I speaking of?

ONNNNNTOOONNNAGOOOOONNNNN!!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

I have suffered through 40 minutes of the Espys. That is long enough.

L'il wants to know if the band aid was baked.
Baked into the crust, yes. I was thinking to myself as I was chewing it "darn, this is a tough piece of pepperoni, how'd it get into the crust?". The pizza slice was buffalo chicken. I think I'm OK though, I haven't grown a 4th leg or anything yet. ;)

hows about climbing out of the pool and walking over them (umm, as you continue the pee running down your leg that you began to let go while in the pool??)

Evening, Lodge. Work was alright today... some sleep would be even better.

Man, and I thought I was a little perturbed friday night when I opened up my pizza box, expecting to see my carnivore's delight and instead seeing a plain cheese pizza. Went back to Hometown and they got my order right, and I got to keep the cheese pizza to boot.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Just checking in after a busy weekend. Signed the lease on the beach front place yesterday (pics to follow). Then went to a poker party with tcbg at one of my friend's house. 24 players at 25$/person buy in. Tcbg came in 3rd! :) Spent the afternoon on the lake, kayaking and relaxing.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

heading back down the lakes and rivers, should be around the Soo at 4am or so Tuesday, and St. Clair around 7am Wednesday. Split load, so we'll be in St. Clair around 8 hours then headed to Monroe again. Gonna be a long couple days there for me.

Hope all of you have good Monday's, talk to you from the Soo if not before.

HF: should be up your way tomorrow around noon I would guess, +/- an hour or so.

Semi-funny thing happened tonight: headed out of Duluth, about 15 miles out the coast guard calls us on the radio and asks if we see any possible boats on fire, guess they had a report of it. We saw nothing (they thought it might be within 5 miles of us), and they call us on the cell phone shortly later and say, can you turn off your stern light (check, nothing there), then call us again shortly after asking if we could turn out ALL of our house lights facing behind us. Uh, nope, not gonna happen, but the Coasties thought our lights might have been the "fire." Silly coast guard.

You're right, it really can be creepy. Sort of a Deliverance meets Twin Peaks feel. At least the band director is really nice to tSBFitW and feeds us whenever we visit for their homecoming :D

Evening, Lodge. Made about 10 nails in the blacksmith shop today, so that was pretty cool. Next thing you know, I'll be out there making cannons and shyte. ;)
