I am not. I just felt like I was. I used to say personal summer but that implies I might a season of cooler and currently that is not happening. I hate hot flashes.

So, at 5:15 tonight, about 15 minutes before my day was done, a full 53' semi came by to drop off paper products. I told the driver he was way too late, we're not receiving, that ends at 2:30pm. He said his boss said we receive until 10pm (Ed note: there isn't even anyone AT my building between 5:30ish and 10pm). He tried to insist that we take the merch. NOPE. Not having it, told him to call whatever contact he had on his bill of lading, and take it up with them. Told him that chances were that he'd have to wait until 6am tomorrow to unload.

I'm guessing he was not happy. Don't care. This company has been a supplier for at LEAST 18 years, they should know better, or the drivers are getting dumber and trying to pull fast ones. FTR, to unload a trailer like that, it takes about an hour.

I will be curious to see what happened, when I get to work tomorrow.

This effin' driver, man.....he showed up today at 2:25, 5 minutes before my co-worker was supposed to leave. Dude, you were already here last night, with ONE load, you couldn't show up earlier?! Co-worker stayed 60 minutes late unloading the truck. Effing moron, that driver. Honestly, if he had showed up after my co-worker left, I'd have told him to come back tomorrow, sorry, you imbecile.

Yes. However, what the heck was he doing between the previous night and the yesterday afternoon? :rolleyes: He didn't have any other deliveries to make.

Anyway, it's Friday, yay.

Good morning Lodge. Working from home today. It's Good Friday. I'm going to church tonight. I haven't really observed Lent at all this year. I feel a little bad about that, but I think God understands. Tomorrow is the hockey banquet. It's actually a brunch. I was planning to go to my mom's this morning but because of that and that it's Good Friday and I should go to church, I figured I'd stay home today. Getting a bunch of little nitpicky work things done, which is great. And I'm on my third load of laundry!!

w00t!! DOne with anything correctable for the semester. Only have one meeting and participate in Mass Casualty exercise left.
