Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 200 - End of Season

The weatherman let me down. He said that there was a chance of rain. Because I don't want to get soaked in cool weather, I stayed close to home. It was a beautiful day with hardly any clouds.

I never knew that there was an Easter morning services at the Lincoln Memorial. It surprises me that I have not stumbled across that before.

I also saw this docking again.

Evening, Lodge. Nice Easter dinner at my brother's/his fiancee's place. The piece de resistance was the ham, cooked with a maple glaze, honey, and pineapple. Delicious.

They finally have finished their huge deck (there are 3 full patio sets on it right now, along with a hot tub, and room to spare  ). I tell ya, for those looking for an occupation, become an auto mechanic. ;)

Went to my wife's sister's last night. Her husband is a very good cook and could not decide if he should make ham or Lamb.
So he made both. Yum!

2a isn't "good morning" :(

Then a Bad Morning to you. :p

Mookie, were you the one who guessed when I would reach 200K posts a year or so ago? If so, do you remember on what thread it was?

Several of my son's close friends from college, including his roommate one year, are from Sri Lanka. He was not having a good morning yesterday as the news poured in. Fortunately for him all but one of is friends - and their families - are safely accounted for at this time. Not fun and hopefully Sri Lanka opens up its internet soon so he can get word.

Just stumbled into reservations at Spoon and Stable for Saturday! Which is perfect because my GF and I are celebrating six months and also going to the orchestra.

I’ve been checking their reservations page at least daily for a month hoping to slide in for the first seating. Very excited to get to go back.

Going to the Red Sox game tonight. It's Game of Thrones night. I could not care less but my brother is a huge fan and wants to go so I bought tickets through the group plan. You get a special tshirt and a chance to take a photo on the GOT throne. However, the forecast isn't looking too good. Though I am totally OK with just going to get the shirt and the picture and leaving. I bought cheap seats.

I also have tickets for tomorrow. These are my seats. It's also my dad's birthday. Taking my niece again. The game on the 11th was OK but tomorrow may be a bit more difficult.
