gmann, are you staying at the Waterpark of MOA hotel and then hopping the LRT? That is a pretty fun waterpark, if so.

I didn't even go to my neices' birthday party. Houston is far away. In fact, they didn't even get a present from me on their birthday (I gave them presents 3 weeks early when I was in Houston).

So another reason I love my fiancee, this exchange last night.

Me: What are you doing?
Her (using her phone): Looking at the new food and bands for the State Fair (MN).

Seems like my plan to go to the fair this year is coming together! :D

So I am working on this Sports Medicine Center for Mayo and I can't see how they are going to get everything they want in the space they have set for it. This thing just keeps growing in size, scope and complexity. The hockey section is now asking for Russian boxes. Do you know how much space those suckers take up? We already are trying to put 10 pounds of **** in a five pound bag and they're adding more pounds with every meeting. :rolleyes:

ETA: And on a personal note, my bad ankle has been bothering me a lot lately so I decided to try and find the top ankle cutter in town - found him and his first available appointment is in October. Found number 2 or 3 and he has an opening in September. I may be using a crutch by the time I can get in to see someone. :rolleyes:

If Scarlet is in the running for aunt of the year I just may be in the running for dad of the year. Weekend plans are set for cityslickerville. Friday evening we will be meeting up with some friends for dinner. Joining us will be the Okee Dokee Brothers (Google them-Grammy winners. You Tube Can You Canoe). My boys are going to be pumped! Saturday will entail swimming then a train ride and then more water activities. Sunday we will be going to the Twins game. We have some kick azz seats and there is a pretty good chance the boys will get to meet a few players. Monday we will just hang out and do whatever sounds like fun before heading home.

Buddy of mine told his daughter he would take her and friends to see one direction. Tickets though were crazy as scarlet saw on stub hub. Buddy has a place in so fla though and is friend with a guy at the lauderdale arena. Guy pulled a row o tickets for him like 5th row for face ($89). So it was cheaper for him to use air miles and fly the group down and pay that rather than stay here and drive them to td garden.

So as it ends up, my plan for going to a boat that works 28 on and 28 off may be better than I thought. It ends up my current boat is supposedly next in line to be given the choice, and the guys on my boat are all in favor of the idea. Hopefully it works out, could end up being a sweet, sweet gig.

School finally pulled through on sending the shirt they (ok, one person) said they'd send... its too small. Oops.
