Tomorrow at work should be interesting. It's been slow the last few Fridays (as it used to be years ago). However, it's a holiday week next week, so either A) Everyone will order everything tomorrow, before they go on vacation, or B) They'll say fuggit and not order anything (and maybe start vacation early). I hope it's the latter.

Ten days off due to the fourth. Stores don't want us in there clogging the aisles. Not complaining.

Well, its finally happened!!

Parents had another court date this morning, and they've finally got a settlement all hammered out after about a year or so of going thru the process. Best of all, it looks like Mom will get to keep the farm. She might have to try to sell off a few acres to buy Dad out, but it looks like we're keeping the farm.

Only big bummer is that dad got the tractor, and he promptly drove that over to his brother's place this afternoon to keep it there. Guess he's thinking about fixing it up and selling it. Its been due for some work, and the rear rims have gotten pretty rusty. But for a 20+ year old tractor, it was still pretty **** handy. Going to have to look into either finding another tractor with a loader bucket so that we have a way of moving round bales, and snow removal as well. That or just ***** at him about it and see if we can't at least borrow it for a while when he does get it fixed up and it's for sell.

But, on the whole, its just going to be **** nice to have that uncertainty cleared up about what the future is going to be around here, along with him finally moving out. That's just going to bring the whole stress levels down a whole lot right there.

You in Tajikistan or something?
No, I work overnights. Your "morning" is my "night," your "nights" are my "morning," and when the clock says 4-5:00 AM, that's pretty much my afternoon. Confusing, I know.

Except that the "AM" after the time specifically defines that time as morning.

Good Morning Lodge.

Driving to Milwaukee today. Going to leave in a couple hours after traffic settles a bit. Looks like an OK day for the drive, scattered showers though. Will get to see how Jr does on extended interstate driving.

Enjoy the cities gmann, don't hurt you neck staring up at all the tall buildings!

We're heading down there next week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #2*2*7*6: It's Summer, why is there MATHS?!

It's Friday. I expected traffic into Minneapolis to be much lighter than it actually was. That did not help me get into the office early today in order to have time to prep for the 8:00 meeting I had scheduled with a developer. Son of a...
