So.. After an engagement of almost a year, one of my good friends is set to marry is high school sweetheart in August. I think it's a little too early for marriage and whatnot but support them and hope for the best.

Last night I get a call at about 10:30.. Hey, we need to get over to his house.. His fiancé had been cheating on him roughly the last 4 months with another kid who went to high school with us and we all played football together as well..

What a ****ty situation.

Bad. Better now than later though.

A friend of mine was getting married in Vegas. She received a boat load of money in a lawsuit. She flew all the wedding party plus close friends to Vegas for the wedding. The guy she was marrying was a slime ball and I didn't like him and in fact nobody liked this guy. When the part of the wedding came up "speak now or forever hold your peace" came up......I stood up and objected. Less than two years later they divorced and she had no money. Guess who sleeps at night knowing he did the right thing? Me.

I'm going to smell like a McDonald's worker for the next two weeks, I just know it. Trying to get ketchup out of a bottle today, some of it squirted onto my sling. I'll try washing it when I get home, but I don't know what I can use to get out that smell without going through a full laundry cycle, which would be too long for me to not be wearing the sling. Dam.

Febreeze. Works wonders. I can't describe some of the nasty smells the couches at the old college house developed, that Febreeze took care of.

Spot clean it with a spray cleaner and then fabreese the hell out of it.

Well, went to the Geek Squad. They blew a boatload of dust out of my computer and it suddenly isn't wailing and whining. Still not perfect and making a little snick noise every once in a while but I am busily backing up everything I can. It would have cost me 150$ to have them do it so the guy said I should just do it at home. After the pics is the genealogy. Sent myself the emails I need to save if it crashes. :eek: Technology. You can't live with it and you can't live without it.

Evening, Lodgrz.

Here's the fine dinner plan for tonight -- frozen pizzas (already in the oven), big fresh garden salad (made by THE KIDS!), and a nice G&T in hand (made by me.) Almost zero effort, and a decent return. :cool:

As a family I bet it takes a two years to go through a bottle of ketchup. Nasty stuff.
