I'm cutting the cord. Dropping Directv. Only reason we have it is so I can watch sports more easily. Clearly not worth it, being in Minnesota.

I have Fire TV, with a subscription to Playstation Vue. I do not own a Playstation, nor do I intend to. I'm spending $45/month where I was spending $104/month with Directv. Not quite apples to apples, but pretty gosh darn close.

One nice thing about being sick: I dropped ~12 pounds in 4 days. I'm scared to put anything into my stomach, because it's anyone's guess what will happen next.

oof. Watching the ugly golden globes and the goof today- the rink looked small, the guys looked big and ND looked slow as molasses.

left at 8:30 this AM. Got on St parking for the donut. Lil parked 1/2 mile away and ran to the arena. WIth the goal review he made it before the 2nd period.

OK, so I'm disappointed but am not at the *HT. I'm taking a seat at the IOKWHT (I'm ok with hockey table) Much better game than expected. Played pretty well. Future is very bright. No stress in Chicago.

Oh, and congrats Biddy!!!

Your complex's repair/maintenance folks can walk right into your apartment??? Is that safe?

We have 3 guys in the maintenance dept, 2 of whom live on site. We've gotten to know them pretty well, but I was a little unhappy that they didn't call or email to let us know they were coming by. I'm not afraid for my safety, but as noted, I do like my privacy. It's a change as they usually notify us that they're popping by. Particularly as one of the guys who we met when we first moved in knows that I work nights and is pretty respectful of my schedule if routine stuff needs to be done in our building/unit.

Tonight is dragging. I am literally watching the minutes tick by (listening to a podcast). I didn't want to come in as I'm exhausted and haven't been sleeping overly well, but one of my friends decided she was calling out for tonight, so I felt like I had to come in as we're super short and the only reason I didn't want to come in is that I'm tired. At least I get to snuggle and sleep until hockey time tomorrow.
