I have trees leafing out that usually do that a month from now, some of my daffodils are almost blooming. Also a month early. It is currently 65F. Hasn't been cold during the day in a week. This weekend will feel like the Arctic.

Of course it will be. We're having a dirty 30 in Boston for a friend who is having a rough go of it. I bought fun heels and a cute dress, thus it will be arctic-ly cold and probably snow.

Ya, Orlando never even entered my mind when I considered my initial places to move. Way too touristy.

Tampa is pretty nice. Summers can get to be a bear with the humidity, but I manage.

that's why god made air conditioning :D

disney is fine. all the stores have full blast AC and most have open doors facing main street. easy to be cool & comfortable!

Plus there's usually a breeze in the summer. I still go golf in the middle of the afternoon.

6 hours or so until I drive from Lake Charles to Houston to fly back to Tampa.

High comedy in the UAA thread. Some of their delusional posters (read: not JJ) think a decent player on the worst team in the now ****ty WCHA will be on a PP unit with Ovechkin next year.

That's why I've pretty much checked out of that thread. Most of the other UAA posters are older folks with an occasional tenuous grasp on reality.

Frankly, I was surprised he ended up in Hershey.

And let's use the phrase "slightly more delusional." I mean, it takes a level of delusion to be a UAA fan...

that happens everywhere with every sport.

driving home tonight mookie had to listen to the radio talk about jimmy g being one of the top 5 qb's in the nfl right NOW  dude thought if the patsies traded either jimmy or GLA, that jimmy would require more :D

I have to say, the temperature in MN today has been a breath of fresh air after a few days in miserable heat. Give me 25 and Sunday. Every. Single. Day.

BS. Be proud of your small school fandom, no matter how much UAA and UAF are barely hanging in there.

EDIT: Or how much some of your cranky old fans suck.

EDIT 2: You know, even the UAF fans are funny with their talk of expansion and getting DU & CC into a west coast league on the last couple pages of their thread. :D
