Think of a rhino rampaging through a china shop. There's a size-to-space disparity there.

he has GOT to do a karaoke night surrounded by the 5'4" men and 4'11" broads with his boots and hat!!! awesome :)

That would be hilarious. Belting out some Church. It'd be like he was surrounded by female Yoopers. Dam midgets.

That usually is eczema. Still good to check it out. Treatment for that is emolient cream right after shower or washing hands- not after you dry off. Best emilioent around- vegetable shortening. Messy tho. People bathe too much and in the winter dryness it strips the oils off the skin.

Good Morning Lodge!
Yeah, on my off days I try to avoid a shower because I usually end up taking 2 showers, especially if I've done a lot of messing around out in the barn or something just to get any potential allergens off of me.

That's my weakness. A good hot shower with enough water pressure to beat the crap out of you is wonderful. Water pressure was actually in my top 5 needs when I was looking at apts.
****!! that was one thing I forgot to look at today.

did some apartment hunting today with the girlfriend. First place we looked at today, Pheasant Brook, as soon as we stepped into the hallway you could smell smoke in there. that smoke smell was in the apartment they showed us. It's been sitting a while and they've not even bothered to give it a decent cleaning. Dust all over the place, cobwebs, and probably the kicker, an old cigarette butt on a shelf in the master bedroom there. a few other things wrong with the place like a closet door that needs a new slider put on it, and a few minor dings and holes left in the walls. Fixable, but eh, shouldn't they be fixing that up first? Only things it really had going for it was that it was in Clinton and that it had vinly flooring right at the doorway.

Looked at another one over on the north side of Tecumseh, Homestead, it was under renovation and the guy preparing the unit to paint it showed it to us. Overall, about the same square footage as what the pheasant brook place was, and it looked like they were putting a little effort into it. Didn't smell of smoke, and it looked like they planned on getting it fixed up before renting it out. And to top it all off, a hundred bucks less a month than what pheasant brook was asking. Pretty sure we'll be putting in an application in to live there.

1. Patio
2. W/D in unit
3. Privacy/view from patio (I have a couple firs blocking my view of the parking lot/neighbors across the lot looking in)
4. Water pressure
5. Just the "feel" of the place

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #189: The Winter of our Discontent.

The water pressure at my place is nuts. I have a supersized 48 ounce Nalgene bottle and can fill it in about 5 seconds from my kitchen sink at full throttle.

Greetings from the police state of Washington, DC. I walk every morning except when I leave early to go bike riding to the Starbucks in the Safeway less than a full block from where I leave. In that block, two police cars passed and then at the Metro station in front of the Safeway there were about ten soldiers. Several more were on line to buy coffee at the Starbucks which opens at 5 and is usually quite empty when I go except for Safeway employees on break.

I was wondering how you were surviving. Keep thinking of the series mr les watches on TV about the last survivor when they blew up DC.
Morning Lodge!

It would make me get out of Dodge. Very convoluted. I can't keep up with all the plot twists. Steven Berry wrote a book about something similar. Kinda creepy

At least it isn't directed by Michael Bay, otherwise they'd still be on the part about the creation of the issue.
