*H- wait, why is everything triple the cost? What, we actually won a game? Shocking.

I can't help but wonder if both our squads were a bit zapped from last nights affair. Neither team looked like they usually do, lots of sloppy play and a tad slow.
Maybe, but it's not like they aren't used to back-to-back games. I don't buy the excuse that they had less time to recover.

Good morning Lodge. Last day of a nice long week off. The thought of going to work tomorrow bums me out.

Later this afternoon I have to go to a wake for my friend's nephew. He was 28. Died of an asthma-induced heart attack. So sad. :(

In Dublin for about 36 hours, came down from Belfast today. Did the Guinness storehouse thing (yes, I know, tourist alarms) and then had dinner at a place that claims to be Ireland's oldest pub, est. 1198. Very neat place, with a delicious Guinness beef stew.

Hard to believe this trip is almost to the end.

I think I'm about to deal with a cold. Lovely.

You are never too old for toy trains!

Some friends of mine are kicking around the idea of going to Britton on Thursday to watch the Canadian Pacific Holiday train roll on by. It's a train with a fancy light show all over it for the holidays and such. Only thing is that it's just passing through and not really doing a show other than there's a facebook group now with estimates of when the train should be passing through the county and when it should be at what crossings when. Might just see go see it.

It's kind of a "big" deal down near where I work in MN. It might be kinda cool to see it once.
