Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Morning, Lodge! Feeling good for the second day in a row. I fully expect the other shoe to drop at some point. :)
Just have to make it through work tonight and then I get to hang with my SIL and niece and nephew. Very excited to see them!

Greetings Lodge peeps. Off today, at the hairdresser this morning, going to try and get a mani/pedi right after and then it's off to Denver tonight!

Late to the party, but all of you cities schools are arrogant and think you're better than everyone else. We don't like any of you. :)

Back in Amarillo, on my treck back home. Fly out tomorrow morning. I always enjoy working with and visiting my coworkers down here, they're great at what they do and they're fun to be around, but the town is a desolate wasteland. 30,000 people. 1 bar. No steakhouses. No local pizza place. No local burger place. 234628365198 Mexican restaurants. Surrounded by feedlots. (Doesn't bug me, smells like home on the farm, but the city boys I traveled with made a big deal out of the smell)

Greetings from my delayed flight to Denver. Complete with a VERY LOUD SCREAMING BABY. Seriously, sounds like someone is torturing the kid.

Evening, Lodge. Had one of those days at work, including dumping a fireproof safety cabinet from about 20 feet up. Even THOSE get damaged dropping from that height. Stupid faulty pallet.

Supposed to be gorgeous tomorrow, which is good, since bbdl and I and maybe another GPLer or two will be outside all day/night. Last year, it was that cold drizzle, and it was not ideal.
