Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Our email server has been down for many hours this afternoon. Didn't realize it as I've received emails from external folks. What a pain!!! Also, Tuesday.

Also, I went to Coon Rapids. Everyone's a cake-eater. Well, except for Cooper. ;)

I grew up in Apple Valley. You all suck, and the wheels on your houses go 'round and 'round. Though, I did attend Rosemount High School, so I'll hang with the lesser creatures.

Good Evening, Lodge!

Getting ready to head to Milwaukee for my cousin's wedding. Too much to do at both home and work.

2 more sleeps until Surly's Darkness Eve/Day. Fun event where Surly releases a hard-to-get beer/have a festival with live music on Saturday, but everyone shows up Fri afternoon to camp out in line. Full tailgate, lots of beer-sharing. People come from all over the country for this, so you get to share hard to find beers and beers you just can't get here. Really fun time. And it's not like Black Friday lines. It's a full-blown tailgate/campout on the streets in the industrial park where it's held (for the locals, the old brewery site).

Good Morning Lodge.

As a cake eater, Cooper and Crack Rapids are all trailer trash.
One weird thing about Anchorage is that it doesn't have the suburban sprawl like other places. I always find it funny because it's hard to compare.

Good Morning Lodge.

Asked for more work the other day. Several people took this week off, and some next week too, as many had been crunching for past weeks to get ready for the Open House. I've been given all the problems from the projects of the guys on vacation. It's OK except I often don't have a clue what the project name is, just an email from an architect who uses a shorthand name and a question.
