I dunno what the temp is here, but it was chilly enough for jackets last. :D
Great weather this weekend. Glad I am not in Mpls

Local zoo is offering $5 off for people who want to poke Mongo.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

Good afternoon Lodge.

Pat Healy: My real passion is my hobby.
Mary: Really, what's that?
Pat Healy: I work with retards.
Mary: Isn't that a little, uhm, politically incorrect?
Pat Healy: Well, heh, to hell with that... no one's going to tell me who I can and can't work with, right?
Mary: No, I mean...
Pat Healy: We got this one kid, Mongo... He's got a forehead like a drive-in movie theatre, but he's a good ship. So we don't bust his chops too much. So, one day Mongo gets out of his cage...
Mary: They keep him in a cage?
Pat Healy: Well, it's just an enclosure...
Mary: No, but they keep him confined?
Pat Healy: Right, yeah.
Mary: That's bull****!
Pat Healy: Well, that's what I said! So, I went out and I got him, uh, I got him a leash.
Mary: A leash?
Pat Healy: Yeah, one of those ones you can hook on the clothesline, and he can run back and forth and, uh, there's plenty of room for him to dig and play. That kid is really, uh, he's really blossomed.

In other news. I either have food poisoning or the flu. It has been a really fun day.

Awesome weekend in the UP. Gorgeous weather, too. Great food, beer, whiskey, adventure, etc. Booked 10/12 rooms for next year and the WHOLE hotel for 2018. The one owner we work with said he couldn't book farther in advance, that was how far the software went, but he also said there would be no issue booking all the rooms in the future, since we will be staying there the same weekend every year. Of course, it helps that we drop a TON of money at the place (excellent food there).

He even brought out some stuff from his private bar for us to purchase (like a 32YO scotch), and a couple of older aged beer bottles for free. :D

Well, that was an adventure....made it all the way home to IND though. BTW, thunderstorms look much better from 30,000 ft than they do from the ground.
