Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

I just got neg rep from a post back in March about the B1G Mistake. :D Apparently Speed Kills just came out of his coma or something.

Sorry, you were one of the last whom I repped before I stopped spreading.

Hi.

God, Sammy Hagar was right. I can't drive 55 through that particular part of the road.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

No. But it was awful hard to keep the foot off the pedal today.

Are you matching traffic?

If that's the case, maybe someone needs to look at 85th percentile speed on that stretch of road. Is the road populated with businesses, etc. or pretty open?

I was with the traffic today. I didn't like it. Like my uncle said, racing is in our blood (my grandfather and two of my uncles raced), and I lost. :p

Usually I'm not, and I definitely wasn't yesterday. In fact, I was passing a semi truck (it's 4 lanes plus a left-turn lane), going 64, uphill, headed to 70+. I had it coming, and got what I deserved yesterday.

Unless you work for AAA or an insurance company, in which case everyone drives too fast no matter what.

Good Afternoon Lodge. Things are just plain irking me today. Is there still beer in the keg, or is it tapped out?

I will hand you a chocolate milk.

Good Afternoon Lodge! ONe more bit of the day and then I can take a breath tomorrow.

In the last 6 days uncle les came to stay for 5 d, had family over to dinner, dropped camera off because it was having issues, lil moved back to college, bro les and SIL les came to town, mum les moved to Sr housing (3 days worth and no where near to done), brought mum les to get a new phone (this is to be considered as a traumatic event), went to the U where I will be working- got parking sticker, failed to get ID because I didn't exist, went to IT, began to exist, got ID, got U email, got inundated with things I should have been getting before, picked up camera- always an adventure, went to a wake, went to an 'orientation for a clinical site, have another start up thing tonight at the U for 3 hours.

One of those or maybe 2 would be enough.

Time to start this again. :)

2,175.4 bicycling miles left to reach last year's total of 8,484.4 miles.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

Sounds like les needs to retire from her retirement.

ETA: jr just texted me "Driving an S7" and big grin. I think he likes the new job.

I'm likely to have a USCHO tail for the next year or so. This could prove, uh, interesting. :D

Just got my first ever political polling call. Agreed to do it to help get those Gary Johnson numbers up higher.
