They were giving out 5 months severance, for people with my service time, so it wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world. Pretty sure I'd have been able to get a new position sooner than that, and double dip for a while. But, the amount of stress wouldn't have been worth it, and I like my job, so yeah, its a good thing I'm still sitting in my cube listening to a design review. :p

Evening, Lodge. Another hell day at work. Guess the OT will fund a future trip to insanity, though. ;)

Looking forward to just roaming this weekend before doing the family thing on Sunday for Memorial Day.

Last night mr and lil les were geeking out- watching the spelling bee and 500 Questions- flicking between the 2. WT eff is a tie for spelling bee? THe young kid was amazing. The older one made me crazy for some reason.

Happy Friday Lodge! Hopefully going to be able to get out of here by 2-ish today.

Didn't have breakfast at home, went to this place I go to on some Fridays. I get the same thing all the time, so much so that guy who runs the place sees me come in and gets my order in front of everyone else who may be waiting in line. Figured it would be quiet today but it wasn't. And when I got my order, it wasn't how I normally get it. I hate when that happens. I had to get to the office, plus he had a bunch of people there so I didn't feel right asking for him to fix it. Oh well.

Input my time off on our time management system for my vacation next week - w00t!!

This is the third year in a row there's been a tie. They actually put new rules in place to help prevent another tie. The old system was as soon as they got down to 3 spellers, a 25-word countdown started and if it ran out there was a tie. Now they give the last 3 spellers a limit of 25 entire rounds. And even that wasn't enough.

I woke up at 4:15 today and took a few minutes to get back to sleep. My alarm is set for 5:45, so I wasn't going to miss out a good 90 minutes. That "good 90 minutes" turned out to be not so good after all as I ended up having a nightmare in that time. It was one of those fantastical nightmares with a demon sort of character, not one of those nightmares where horrible things happen to people around you or you yourself. No matter how many times I put the fire poker through baddy, it wouldn't die. I can't even begin to tell you how long it's been since I'd had one of those types of dreams before this morning.

You barely grill it. Add butter that won't melt because you barely grilled it. Stick it in the microwave for 15 seconds. If I wanted a microwaved one, I would've gone to Dunkin' Donuts.
