Morning

There is french fries and hamburgers on my socks. No, I didn't spill food on them.

Morning, Lodge. Enjoying a schedule blip - 7 days off (took an 8th as my dad is having surgery that day coincidentally). Doing the little things that have been getting neglected -- tidying, laundry, haircut/color. Might even start a creative project that I've been neglecting. I've also decided that I should do 1 hour a day (on my days off) of reading about my field -- a little education never hurt anybody. Keep up on trends as well as deepen my knowledge about my patients/field.

I am wearing plain black socks today, however, I'm considering purchasing these shoes -- link. Socks aren't really my thing.

Greeting from Plano, TX Lodge. We have a new, big office here, and it's temporary space while we build a super, ginormous new facility here that opens in 2017. Phone GPS took me to Frisco, TX by mistake. Oops!! I hate when things like that throw me off in the morning. Event is 1-5pm, then I have to bolt and head to DFW for my 8:10 flight home. HOME!! I am really looking forward to being home. This has been a long trip.

I am wearing plain, gray socks as I am wearing sneakers today and not my slip on shoes. It's going to be cold when I land in Boston tonight.

I bought the AACN book to prep for the CCRN exam and I bought another critical care book. They were on sale at Amazon.

Shopping for shoes has led to an hour and a half of dress shopping for rockabilly dresses. Too bad I live in a region where it's too cold for that style to be practical!

Nothing like a welcome back to work random drug test. Just another day slaving for the mariner lifestyle.

Late night with the girlfriend last night. all tuckered out on the couch here with the dog who doesn't seem to be feeling well today. She better get to feeling better soon because next week I'm getting new chickies.

I don't like spiked ones, but chunky heels have better support. :)

I have very few heels in my collection these days as NaSK is about my height (5'7"....on skates), and I don't want to tower over him. Those heels you linked earlier though, look pretty awesome.

I have never worn a skinny heel. Chunky heels are great. I was the only female attendant at my brother's outdoor wedding that was not sinking into the ground, heck yeah chunky heel.

I lost a contest last month because I made 2 errors on 91 trades, and the winner didn't make any on 9. Words were said.
Don't blame you for that. I'd be rightfully PO'd as well.

Brent, at least management recognizes it sucks. That's at least progress. Problem is trying to get pencil pushers at a desk who have no idea how to work the floor to understand that. :D

White socks here, but with reinforced toes. My steel-toed tennis shoes tear regular socks to shreds. Doing some churchin' as it has been a helluva week.

My work day ended well. I got to smash 6 hoverboards to pieces! :D
