Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

This made me laugh. A lot. Doubting anyone else really gets it :D

Yes. Yes it does!

Happy Birthday MarkEagleUSA!!

Good Morning Lodge!!

Feeling exceedingly grateful today.

On Monday I got into the subscapularis of powerlifter who's around 300 pounds. Really glad he signed up for a 2 hour session as it took a while just to loosen up his scapulas enough to dig into those muscles. Got him to quote from the "incomplete list of impolite words' there in about two or three octaves higher than what he would normally be. always fun.

It's too goddam early to be awake. I don't know how you morning people do it.

Off to St Paul....

Good morning Lodge.

Good Morning Lodge.

Any room with the Chinese next door?? 18yo daughters perhaps??

:p
Doubt it on the room. I've not been in the house since they had it remodeled prior to move-in. But the Wife's parents are visiting from China. One daughter, born in December of 2015, seems a little young, even for mookie.:p

Greetings Lodge. Just got in the office after my re-scheduled dentist appointment. Because I went to the trouble, I'm expecting BU to be placed anywhere but St. Paul now. Because, you know, #OppositeGirl. However, according to Jason Moy's current bracketology, looks like BU will be in St. Paul. Going to try and book a hotel room now and use points (all this travel has to be good for SOMETHING) and then I can cancel should plans not materialize.

It's more than a week now that I've been sick, the first time I've been truly sick in a couple years. My voice is shot, deeper than Barry White. I'm thinking about getting a mic, aiming my subwoofer at the ground, and rounding up the snakes. It is St. Patrick's Day, after all.

Ugh -- reading back through the thread, I am feeling the tax misery. Finally finished ours today and not happy with the results. We owe, which has never happened to me before (I usually get a reasonable amount back thanks to my absurd student loans). Hoping my aunt, who is an accountant, will look at things and that she isn't bogged down already with her regular clients.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Getting a pretty nice return filing single and zero with a decent amount of student loan interest. #soronery

Thinking about splurging on one of my "stupid" ideas. If I can find a decent one on Craigslist...the answer is always Miata ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

I couldn't even fit into a Miata.

I drove one once for only a couple miles back in 1996 or 97, and I just barely fit into it. It was a manual transmission, which made it all the more difficult to drive since my knee was sort of popping over the gear selector. I'm only 5'11", but I was very strong at the time, so very wide.
