Well... the Hawks lost so I guess *ht, but then again... we picked up Andrew Ladd today.
In other news, the boy is being recruited hard for a summer travel lacrosse team by a coach he played for last year on a different travel team.
This new team plays at higher level tourneys that get scouted.
This coach is at a different high school (near Milwaukee) and has put a lot of his own players into the NCAA from D-1 through D-3.
The only reason to do this team is if it's an investment in a (possible) future of at least D-3. Spoke to the boy and he'll need to commit to grades and off-season work.
He claims to want to pursue this opportunity.
Would be cool to look back on this several years from now as one of those turning point moments.
Your squad was impressive. So much speed and skill up front and Racine was great when he needed to be. Tell me again why they don't have a better record? As long as they refrain from being goons, they look hard to beat.I'm buying rounds at the hht tonight!
Good Morning Lodge.

Overtired shopping is similar to drunk shopping. Went in for 5 things, came out with about 100$ worth of stuff. *sigh*

We had a tour of our new office located near the new Vikings stadium (not permitted to call it by the sponsor's name - freaking cult-like about that, I swear). My group will be on the 14th floor, that's the top floor assigned to a group as the building only has 15 stories and the 15th floor will be a commissary/common area of some sort. We're kind of a big deal around here.
I'm going to lose so much storage space, going from a two-drawer cabinet, a three-door cabinet, a writing drawer, and two overhead bins down to a single one-drawer cabinet and a small locker for my jacket, bag and such. Privacy will also be gone.
There are some small conference rooms designated for stand-up scrum meetings, but they're called things like huddle and focus rooms, along with some other football references.
Also, no decorations or house plants will be allowed at the new office building. Many of us are expecting a very sterile and depressing environment.
The oddest thing about the new building is the elevator system. In the elevator car itself there are no buttons to select your floor. Instead, you select your floor from a kiosk just outside the bay and it tells you which car to use. It then counts the number of people getting into a car by kiosk selection and then again those passing through the elevator doors to optimize travel speed and minimize the number of stops to reach your destination. The other part that they don't say is that the security desk will know exactly how many people are on which floor at all times and who roughly who those people are.
Good Morning Lodge~!
When will RB be able to go bike riding again? I imagine RFAlph has never stopped riding- it is way too warm this winter!
Your focus should be on hookers and blow.
Seriously, good luck.
So you're finally "catching" up to Mother Mining. The short walls do lead to a lot of collaboration, some even work related, & the urge to press a button inside the elevator will never leave.
Hah! I have gotten in a little over 40 miles since the start of the year.
My focus is.
The boy's needs to be on lax and grades.
And... thanks.
When's that Disney trip?
Depart MN 3/19 and then depart Orlando 3/28.
Orlando for 9 days?
