HHT for me. Now I can leave and get an ice cream. Because it's summer weather here.

That was way too close for comfort. Would be nice if the ugly helmets and UAA win too. PWR rules this time of year.

Although, even then, we pretty much have to win the B1G Tourney to get in.

And the MehHT for right now....game still in progress.

My favorite team blew a 2 goal lead in the third and tied (won in a shootout, but who the **** cares - it's a loss if you blow a 2 goal lead in the 3rd and settle for a tie).

My second favorite team lost in OT.


On another note, half of the boy's team is over and are apparently staying the night. :eek:

Nice night hanging out with one of my best friends and his wife watching the Sioux game.

Have the whole day free tomorrow if anyone is up for doing anything.

Well, HHT for me tonight and Wednesday.

Thanks all for the kind words on our Section Championship. What a great night Wednesday was. Seeing our guys celebrate something they've dreamed about for years was pretty **** cool. Extremely proud of our group of guys and looking forward to our opportunity to spend the week in St. Paul and play at the Xcel Energy Center. It's still fairly surreal. It's definitely fun being able to still go to the rink and practice every day preparing for more hockey games. Only 16 teams in Minnesota can make that claim. One of the coaches on our staff grew up in Mankato, went to high school here, and has coached for 21 years in the youth and high school program. It was extremely cool to see the excitement he had after we clinched his first trip to the High School Hockey State Tournament.

Mornin', Lodge. Supposed to be gorgeous today, mid-50s. Might just spend the afternoon on the patio listening to the Gopher Women's game. Last free weekend for about a month, might as well take advantage.
