Corner Bar?

The next time you are in town and if you are looking for the best pizza ever..... make it a point to eat at Dave's Pizza.

IF they are open. IIRC, they keep odd hours....

You're supposed to watch for those potholes when driving, Patman. One might think that a northern-trained driver would've learned that as a teenager. ;)

A place called Bar 209. Everyone told us the only places to get food after 10 were Green Mill and Perkins, but then we found this place that served until 11, which is enough time post-game.

Have tried going to Dave's Pizza in the past but their hours suck. Can't go for lunch, they're not open, can't go postgame, not open. We didn't get into town until right before puck drop Friday, and we were hanging out at Bemidji Brewing pregame Saturday.

Did they have more than two taxis? :D

When we were there in 2008, that's all they had, and we were smart enough to book them before the bar crowd could, which REALLY p*ed off the locals. :D

Only took a taxi once. Otherwise our hotel was within walking distance of the bars and arena.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

That what you can do when you make the planets best pie. ;)

Wouldn't know since they were never open. ;)

As for the taxis, lucky! When we went, we had to stay at some Holiday Express or something, across the street from the Perkins. Taxi was necessary.

Mornin' lodge. Woke up 20 minutes ago or so and haven't fallen back asleep.

My brother and I took my dad to the Wild Stadium Series game against Chicago, what a great day that was. A really cool setting, atmosphere, and an awesome celebration of hockey in the state.

I'm fortunate enough to be coaching in my second Section Championship game in three years of coaching high school hockey on Wednesday. One win and it's Xcel Energy Center and State Tournament bound. What a great opportunity for our kids and what a fun ride it would be!

Back to sleep for me! Night y'all.

Good Morning Lodge.

Mavsy, you should have spent yesterday breaking down Northfield film to get ready, not driving to the cities to watch your 62nd favorite team lose!:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Just pulled out of HpHQ to drive to Ft. Lauderdale to go spend the next 5 days on a cruise ship. I'll have a drink for each of you while smelling the sweet saltwater.

Learned a new word tonight. Fecaluria. It's bad.

On the plus side, finally started to get into a groove. Have had less intense assignments due to being new, but last night was a great night in terms of learning and having to draw on my experience and critical thinking. Now I'm off for 2 days. :)

Good morning Lodge.

Had a craft fair today. Didn't do too well, but made up table costs. Just relaxing before going to see Mr and his band play at a really dive bar in Minneapolis.
I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but what kind of crafts do you do?

I remember the looks on the locals faces when we got in the cab. That was fun.

Don't you spend enough time on boats already? :)
I thought that.
