Because people have a natural aversion to what they see as judgment calls, stopping the flow of play, and it's just so easy to create a bogeyman or scapegoat for an undesirable outcome.

Good morning Lodge. Up early today. Getting my taxes done. Accountant Guy is at my brother's house. My sister-in-law texts me last night to tell me to come at11:30, they're meeting with Acvountant Guy at 10. Fine. I had to go to my parents' place anyway, was going to go after, now I'll go before. I'm here now. While here, my brother calls and it sounds like he didn't know his wife texted me with the new time.

I have a 1pm massage so I have to leave by noon so Accountant Guy better still be there.

Hockey talk in the lodge??!!

I am always confused with the "They won't call that, it is [late in the game, OT, someone is already in the box]. That is a judgement call. To me, a rule is a rule, is a rule. Set the tone early and be consistent. My bugaboo is when they 'let them play' then decide half way through the game to call things because they have gotten out of hand. They let them kill each other early, and then act like it is basketball and if someone falls down send em to the box. If they are calling everything it is on the players to gfigure that out. When they don't then they end up with broken play.

Disclaimer: I have been told more than once I am a girl, I don't know what I am talking about per lil, when he was lil, I assume, looking down at my body parts, this still applies

IALTO. Saw RV2, went beer hunting for some rarer beers, now lunch with a buddy at church. MN women's game after that, then MTU-BSU for a nice evening.

Yeah, if I were hunting, it wouldn't be for bear.

There are (were) a couple of rarer beers released this past week, and even "my" store couldn't get them in, so went on a hunt around the suburbs to find them. Found one of them, and bought the store out (5 25oz bottles). At least one is going to a buddy, as he asked if he could buy any extras that I find. For the locals, it was Clown Shoes Itasca Loonidragon 2016 (MN exclusive). The one I couldn't find was Bent Paddle Double Shot Double Black, which apparently is rarer than a hen's tooth.

Raleigh built a 3 floor indoor/outdoor beer garden with over 300 types of beer on tap.

I made the right decision! :D

Good Evening, Lodge!

Had a craft fair today. Didn't do too well, but made up table costs. Just relaxing before going to see Mr and his band play at a really dive bar in Minneapolis.

HHT, MN women sent those b*es from WI back home without a win. Sweep, baby.

Currently watching MTU pound the BSU Beavers 5-1, so yay!
