Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

It's ethylene glycol - I think it's tough to change the taste of something that is sweet at it's core. It does look like companies have started adding stuff to make it less sweet - after some quick online research.
Or propylene glycol.

It is sweet, and animals will drink it, which is why it is a perfect solution to get rid of raccoons, skunks, possums, etc, that are hanging around outside your house. Set out a bowl of it at night, they'll drink it and die. Just keep it away from the pets.

Howdy gang. Back in the office this morning - will be here today and tomorrow and head out again Wednesday morning. My boss really doesn't want me out of the office this much so we're meeting today with her counterpart to see about lessening my time on the road. She keeps saying she needs me here as the work is piling up and I need exposure to...whoever. But she's not telling me exactly what this new work is. I feel like she is getting vibes from her boss and thinks making sure I'm here is what should be done. It's weird. I don't think she has any concrete answers but needs me physical here just in case. To her credit, she did she knows that I am absolutely working and reachable while on the road, but to her, I'm not here and that's difficult. I'm not sure what's going to happen. I know I have travel I need to book, though.

Propylene is not as sweet, nor as poisonous.

Sorry, those 2 statements should have been separated. I was trying to say that not all anti-freeze is ethylene glycol, and then I went to talking about ethylene glycol. I wasn't very clear.

S'okay. I just wanted to clarify that propylene is used now mainly because it is not as hazardous as ethylene. In every other measure it is a worse choice.

Heading home to change and head back in town for the Beanpot. I'm going to take the T in and either T it back or take a cab. Parking at the Garden is $45!!! A cab will cheaper.
