Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Sitting here watching TV. I heard some buzzing. Look up and see a big bug. Not sure what it was. It was on the valance (sp?). So I grabbed a dish towel and whacked it. I stunned it and it fell. Now I can't find it. Or hear it. And I'm leaving really early tomorrow. I'm worried I'm going to come back and it will be waiting for me.

Remember when you hit me with that towel, and now you can't find me? I sure do.... ;)

Apparently people can't handle the snow AGAIN. The midwest gets a bit wimpier every year. I blame easterners. No reason. Just because. ;)

Bug won't wait for your return, I'm sure it's waiting for you to go to sleep tonight. :D

Good Morning, MEUSA! :)

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

OMG I'm on board a 6:25am flight hoping to nap and people are still boarding and there is a SCREAMING child. I want to go back there and scream back in its fact. Or maybe at the parents who don't appear to be doing anything about it.

:)

Good Morning Lodge.

Don't worry Scarlet, once you take off and the pressure starts dropping the kid will get louder when it's ears start to hurt.

My commute in was not bad except for the semi stalled in the right lane of 394 which caused that 4 miles to take about 40 minutes of creeping.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Mornin' Lodge. My commute should be fine, as it was last night. I love not having a rush-hour commute. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

There was a small traffic backup heading into the dining room (temporary office today) and some idiot (me) forgot to get coffee ready last night.
Luckily I've been able to overcome these terrible hardships. :)

I wonder if I will have your "luck" with screaming kids. I should probably invest in earplugs before my first trip.

I don't know anyone else with Scarlet's luck when it comes to screaming kids.

I have found that flights in and out of Orlando are guaranteed to have screaming kids. Other than that, I think maybe 5% of the flights I go on have a crying baby/screaming kid.
