Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Morning, Ralph! :)

Ugh, co-workers are talking about their love of pimples, cysts, and abscesses. Yuck.

Glad everything is ok.

A few years ago in west central MN there was one. We are definitely not in earthquake territory. I can't recall the magnitude but it was a very very minor one. It woke me up because I thought I had heard thunder. I looked out the window and saw stars. I then sat on the edge of the bed thinking I must have dreamt it. I felt the slightest vibration. Shrugged it off and went back to bed. Next day on the way to work it was all over the radio. The epicenter was only a mile or two away.

Speaking of earthquakes. Woke up about 3am this morning and felt the ever so faint vibrations. Eerily similar to what I experienced a few years ago............

I got on the lake about 5:45 this morning to do some fishing. The ice is really cracking and booming. Coincidence? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Howdy Lodge. Happy Sunday. Going up to see my folks today. I'm heading out on the road Wednesday and they leave for Florida for a couple of weeks so it might be a while be fore I see them. I may do a quick drive to the office to drop off my laptop so I don't need to drag it in tomorrow. Or not.

So question....I think I know the answer, but will ask it anyway. I'm going to be I Seattle next weekend and will miss the Beanpot final. I gave my ticket to that game to a friend. She said she wasn't going to this Monday but if BU makes the final. She would be looking for a ticket. I'm out of town so I told her I would send it. I didn't ask for money, though I probably should, but whatever. Now they're predicting some bad weather late next weekend into next Monday. What happens if the postpone the game and they re-schedule for when I'm home?? I don't want to have to pay for another ticket. I suppose I shouldn't worry about it as this storm is so far out and probably won't be an issue but still....
