Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

*HT.

I feel like I'm honestly starting to hit my breaking point with UAA. I honestly don't know how long I can keep doing this. 15+ years, 3 different coaches, absolutely no sign of long term progress, and an athletic department and booster club that doesn't seem to care. It's just starting to feel like there is no point to it all. :(

And a marketing department that just doesn't get it. Case in point, they are spending thousands of dollars to rent the Sully for the Army / Air Force game tomorrow at 2:00. Then it's military appreciation night at 7:00 for the UAA game where military and their families get in free. Really? How many are going to take their kids to the 2:00 game, go home and come back at 7:00? This didn't work well at all last year, yet they do it again this season. Ugh. No common sense!!

I was spreading rep and found that Foxton was banned. Can it be revealed what happened?

Morning, Lodge. My lack of nap yesterday is starting to kick my butt. Thankfully, only 3 more hours + report + 47 minute drive home. *sigh*

There are some really intense scenes in that book. The sucker punch in the gut is the least of it.

Sometimes the green people aren't stuck in the way things are supposed to be and their open mind is the thing that finds answers.

If nothing else, I'm now thoroughly convinced that I need tcbg to continue to explore his Scottish heritage and get a dang kilt (complete with sash, wool socks, and sporran - aka crotchbag). The mental image is :D :D

Wished cancer on a poster, and basically cussed out everyone else in the Nice Planet thread. Really went on a tear.

Good morning Lodge. Gray, raw, drizzly day here. Need to run a few errands, getting a massage,Mayen back to Bloomingdales to pick up the jacket I bought last weekend that I bought in a pre sale so I couldn't bring it home and it was totally worth for the amount of money I saved.

Saw this on Twitter this morning and it gave a giggle. The poor social media person at Mercyhurst - will take a while to love that down.

Anybody who owns a home with a garage around here, and complains that they don't have enough freezer space for this weekend, gets a shovel to the head.

Actually, that reminds me of one of my college roommates. I entered the apartment after studying at the library (honest), and she and another had some friends over drinking, playing cards and such. She complained that it was getting too hot and turns on the air conditioner. It was 15F outside and the air conditioner sat right next to the big window.

It's not called sccc for nothing. :D

The hubster wore the formal kilt attire for our wedding. Almost stopped dead in my tracks as I was walking down the aisle. He looked good! :)
