Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Evening, Lodge. Well, since the current changes in carriers at work went into place, I haven't worked past 6pm. That's a good sign.

Went beer-hunting after work, after getting some news about a rare release, and it was a successful hunt (3 stores, 4 bottles; maxed out the limit at each store).

Had a teeny tiny glimmer of hope but Harvard's fifth goal has sent me on the way to the *HT. Crap.

Good evening Lodge.

Just finished up planning an ice fishing trip up north next week. Leave Wednesday night and I will be back in time for the Vikings to kick azz against AZ and then to play at home for the NFC championship against Sharon Rodgers or the skins.

Clown, did you get your sh*tter replaced? As a son of a plumber I have been there done that.............

Yes, I did. It's pretty simple once you have all the parts and the right tools. I used a socket wrench for my original attempt at fixing the prior toilet, but that turned out to be too much torque. (Get it?!) So I used a nut driver and paid more attention to how tight I made the connections. The toughest part of the replacement was setting the bowl in place as the flange allowed the bolts to tilt, and so I had to finagle those while setting the bowl in place without any help.

It doesn't take much torque to crack a bowl.

Good Morning Lodge.

A little slushy snow this AM to affect the commute, might have added 1-2 minutes to my drive. :)

Morning.

This weather is terrible. 41 for a high today and 52 tomorrow. Not sure how I'll survive.

Good morning Lodge.

I find it humorous at times what auto correct does to some of my posts ( especially using the iPhone). Just for shiats and giggles I might just post without correcting for a bit. For the record, more times than not I consider myself to be below average when it comes to spelling and grammar but auto correct takes it to an entirely different level. :)

It must've been worse down in Dakota County because we had some serious backups heading north, but then it turned just fine north of 494.
