Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Good Morning Lodge.

Off to jail this morning.

We're adding new courts on to the building and I need to look at the existing systems.

Yo. Well, work will definitely be different, as we are only using one main ground (non-Next Day Air stuff) carrier at this point. Squeezes the daily deadline a bit, since all the volume needs to be done by a certain time, and can't push off the former secondary carrier stuff (they had a cutoff that was about 2 hours later...).

Still working 4-day weeks, haven't worked a 5-day since Oct . Calculated my PTO for this year, and I'll be getting 6 weeks. :D Have a feeling I won't be working many 5 day weeks this year...

Morning.

This job keeps emailing me updates on their decision process. I've never had a company communicate this much.

Might just be trying to keep me interested, or its just how they do things.

Are they spammers? :)

Good Morning, Lodge!

Day 2 of rearranging the office. Since old boss retired, we tore apart his desk and placed all the printers in the area that was his desk. We are moving everything to make it more convenient.

I have a toilet in my living room now.

Okay, so it's in a box while sitting in my living room. The plan is to install it tomorrow, but if I'm feeling good after I get done weight lifting and eating, I might re-throne my master bath tonight.

did you order one of those fancy japanese toilets? Seat warmer, auto flush, built in arse cleaner, radio, etc.

I bought a $90 toilet from Menards. I would have purchased from the Home Depot, but they wouldn't let me look at the flushing mechanism of the display model for their $90 toilet. ****ing the bed while attempting to fix a faulty flushing valve is what got me to this point in the first place. I want a model with the simplest flusher there is.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Doing my usual pre-departure clean up/errand routine today, as I'm flying back to New Orleans tonight to go back to work. Normally I'm not too thrilled about this day, and while I'm not giddy this time, knowing I have 4 weeks off at the end of this work trip is making this much, much better.
