Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

This thing is only at 181 after all these years?

This variation of the HG-YBI/TRP is rather new, given the evolution of the board. That, and the dwindling posters, most of whom now post on their team boards only...I'm not surprised.

Good morning Lodge.

For those of you that have seen the new Star Wars movie. Is watching it in 3D worth it?

I've seen it (and seeing it again later this morning) and I can imagine it'd be worth it. Large space epic story with some special effects? It sure qualifies for a good 3D movie.

Good morning Lodge. What to do today? I have a surprise 40th birthday tonight. Maybe I should get a manicure. Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

I have nothing on the calendar today. Nothing.
It's glorious. :)

"..........cause every time Catherine revved up the microwave I'd pi ss my pants and forget who I was for a half hour or so." Cracks me up every time. :)
The little lights... they aren't twinkling

Me either and I can't begin to say how grateful I am for it!

Same for me.

Mrs g hasn't seen any of the Star Wars movies. We started the first one this morning and will not stop until Return of he Jedi is over.

We will be heading up north either tomorrow or Monday for round three of Xmas and then New Years.

Not as much as this script has.

Going sometime in the next few days. Today no motivation for much of anything.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Good evening Lodge.

Lazy day. Star Wars marathon and munched on leftovers all day.

The only thing on the agenda tomorrow is to watch the vikings as they fine tune things for yet another deep playoff run and more than likely another Super Bowl win.

At the Wild game, given how Pittsburg is dominating play I kind of with my brother didn't give me tickets for Christmas.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

iTunes has become a serious fustercluck. I have about 200 UnfairPlay DRM-protected files from prior to 2009 that I am trying to figure out how to break out of iJail without burning a bunch of CDs and ripping them back to MP3, and without paying $40+ for software I will only use once. None of the freeware solutions from back in the day work anymore, because the developers no longer work on them and Apple naturally rewrote a bunch of stuff in iTunes 12 to stop them from working. And people wonder why I got away from this effing evil cult of a company and switched from the iPhone 5 to a Note 4. Unfortunately, my entire music library is still in iTunes because I haven't found a comparable replacement for that yet.
