I didn't say what the something is. How is that gutter looking? :p

That doesn't change the question...and that gutter is looking fine.

Half-thought about calling the 'rents at 6am like my aunt used to do, to tell them Santa showed up. But I value my life. :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! (I had to google it)

Merry Christmas all! I wish you all something in your day that warms your heart.

"einen guten Rutsch ins neue jahr" literally means "a good slide into the new year". It's surprising that English doesn't have a comparable expression since one usually just slides or coasts in the latter part of the year.

My Christmas message: Always use too much tape!

Mine, make sure you stock up on Christmas wrapping paper and other assorted supplies a day or two after Christmas has passed so that you will have plenty of them for Christmas for next year.

Merry Christmas Lodge.

I suck at wrapping gifts. I'm so bad at it that I blamed the kids for how badly I wrapped Mrs g gifts. ;)

Last night was mixed. Church service was great, our meal was awesome, little g's loved their kindles and they were blown away that we will be going to Florida in March. The down side? Little g had his third seizure (that we know of) right around 9pm. F an a. I don't like it one bit but it definitely puts things into its proper perspective.

Poop. Hopefully the last one. Glad all went well otherwise.

GIft bags are great. Just ask my menfolk. A few yrs ago I had some wrappoing paper that was beautiful. I didn't want to just throw it away so I made a soap opera box. You know, the kindwhere the box is wrapped and you just lift the lid. Now we have a ton of them. Initially hard to do but Wrapping is now a snap. Same ribbons and tags. We have a tradition of crossing out the names on the tags or drawing arrows or putting a sticker over the top on the gift tags.

You didn't even have to explain what soap opera box was. I knew immediately!!

I should probably jump in the shower. I'm watching the Buffalo Bills 30 for 30 though.

I had some tears well up while watching it, due to the games and some of the non-game things. It was a tough watch for me, but it was very well done.
