I got a copy of a roster of my high school graduating class sent to me, there are 811 entries, but some are duplicates. We had 12 Andersons and one Andersen and 20 Johnsons. Wait, one of the Johnsons lives a block from me, how did I not know that?

ETA: Holy ****! I graduated with THAT Mark Johnson???? Again, how did I not know that?

Cause you're older than dirt?

Cause you've had so many johnsons it's hard to keep track?

:D

A guy located in one of the cubicles outside mine just had to verbally think through the equation, "three divided by one."

I didn't know you were located with the Marketing Department.

The people in Marketing might actually be brighter than those who reside in the cubicles across the aisle from mine, as hard as that is to believe.

Sigh, sad how a once great program has been reduced to a raging out of control dumpster fire.

Tuesday was Tuesday. * you, Kansas City. Because of your stupid parade, we took some business from our branch down there, which makes no sense. Half the city is closed, so business should be down a little, right? *sigh*

They sent me some backup that has been to offsite once. They want him to become the official backup, since the current one is in a management position (which makes sense). He has potential, though. He's the #1 forklift jockey at the main building, and he's only been there for about a year.

Funny moment:
Me: Oh, you have to label everything, not just pick it.
Him: Wait, what?
Me: Yeah, down here, we do EVERYTHING on our own. Pick, label, wrap, all of it.
Him: (with a look of "holy sh* now I understand how tough this is..."): Man, no wonder they talk about you in the meetings. You do this solo, that's crazy, man.

:D

Today's travel from the boat to home, so I can unpack work stuff and pack for Vegas, will be an interesting one. Little bit stressful, although nothing I can really control, so I'll do my usual roll with it and let itself play out.

Bonus: I don't need to come back to the boat Monday, since I'm due off for my usual 2 weeks next Thursday anyways. Nice 3 weeks off.
