We take a major with under 5 to go in regulation with a 3-2 lead, and give up a 6x4 goal with :42 left. Headed to OT.

Christ Almighty, that was freaking stupid. I mean, that is a Grade-A piece of head-up-your-*** hockey right there.

Was it Pat George? He was always a Grade A dummy in minor hockey/HS. ;)

Officially eating sushi and noodles and stuff at the Thai bar, but may sneak a drink or 2 in at the HHT. Very fun and entertaining game against Mark's squad tonight, 0-0 ties are alright in my book.

No, this one was actually Ferris. We threw away a point tonight.

Pat's a decent guy. He's just...intense. If he did very much of that, Krug would bench him in a heartbeat.

Ya, he's seemed to mellow down a bit as he got older and advanced the ranks a bit. Very nice family too.

HHT, I suppose. Wild win, a shutout to boot.

Had fun in the suite. It was one at the end of the ice (one of my favorite views for a game). Saw a few friends I hadn't seen in years, good to catch up with them.

I found it HILARIOUS that they now have closed-captioning on the scoreboard.

Yes, those all happened. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. :D

There was a LOT of jawing from both teams tonight, especially when the Wild took a 3-0 lead.

Oh, and Twitch will love this: after one of the fights, the X played the music from Mike Tyson's Punch Out. :D

That was after Folin got worked because he didn't drop both gloves. The Wild's best fighter is probably Dubnyk because of his reach.

Whatever it ends up being, I'm not worried. I just liked the article someone linked with the professor who said that schools changing their mascots pick either angry mascots that use "fighting" in the name, or they pick some sort of bird, usually a bird of prey. That just clicked to "angry.... bird" for me, so I giggled and now running with it.
