It is absolutely nasty here. As I look outside there are three spotters parked on each side of my property. It's heading NE. It's still humid as hell.

Supposed to hit around 10pm in my neighborhood. You can easily tell by looking outside that sh* is gonna happen. It looks all nice from inside....but you know better. YOU. KNOW. BETTER. Just that hint of bad weather tint to the sky.

HHH in 207 land but not as HHH as where you guys are! I seem to be the most tasty morsel at camp. I was eaten alive by the deer flies. No one else is being bothered. I have developed a hyper-reaction to them. Getting huge welts. Right now have a wheal that is approx. 10 inches by 8 inches above my knee, on my thigh. It is efffffing painful and itchy at the same time. Miserable!

And the good news? Beautiful sunset!

Make sure she's comfortable and all.

Maybe she will show you her fluffy cumulus clouds.

Right now, these storms are the slowest tease ever. Feels like prom night. Wait, what?

And I will show her my big storm shelter.

The storm is slow moving sob. Currently 65 degrees

Haha! I went to look at the calendar on here and there is an ad for Chinese girls who are scantily clad. DO you think this has anything to do with mookie talking about Asian beauty all of the time?

I think I speak for Hoven and myself, but gmann, quit hogging the storm and let us have a shot at it! BRING IT!

*Note: I hope the gmann and family are safe tonight and had a blast yesterday. Sorry I didn't get to see you. According to most on this board, it is a blessing.

He wasn't wearing the S&S when I met him. Thankfully. :D

The worst of the storm has passed. Good luck city slickers.

The g family had a blast at both games. A blessing. Why?

You didn't have to put up with LWB. :D

Can't be that bad. :)

My .02 worth about weather watches and warnings. Back in the day (if memory serves correct) a tornado watch meant that conditions were favorable for a tornado and a tornado warning meant that a tornado was confirmed and on the ground. If you were in a warning then you'd best take cover immediately. Now days? We have been in a tornado warning since 6:30 and it will expire at 8:30. The sirens have been going off every 10 minutes or so the entire time. Yes the weather was ripe for something nasty and I'm sure there is a good explanation for the new definitions. However, today's warning is like crying wolf. (Steps off soap box)

Agreed, and you are correct on the old definitions.

Honestly, I just watch the radar until I hear the sirens. Then I go outside because that means it's about to get entertaining. ;)
