That church district is cool... and a bit odd too... in a way.

The old rink is right there too. Worth a look.

There's a certain punk band, The Queers, who are SPECIFIC in their hatred for Deadheads. I didn't know this, and wore a Dead hat to their concert. Ran into more than a few people in later years that remembered that. "YOU'RE THAT GUY!" Yeah. :o

That was actually quite punk of you in a way. ;)


I like a WIDE variety of music and never understand (or respect) those that close-mindedly hate on other stuff. If it's not your bag, that's okay... let it go. Why waste energy hating on it?

Most of them were cool with it. They got it once they talked to me, they were just in amazement I was that...ignorant?... in my choice of hat.

And we are spending 4 days in the UP, no set schedule. I'm sure we'll hit all that we can.

Holy ****, Bogota is so much more fun than I ever imagined. Had a helluva good time tonight, at one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. Bottle service aguardiente is the bomb.

Yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought. Unless I am at the lake I don't like this weather. Today is supposed to be in the nineties with heat index of 103 or so.

Bring on January.

Pity they don't have hockey down there. The more you talk about it, the more it sounds like a fun place to host another Invasion.

DP is currently 75 here. Temp is 80. Yeah. Wunderground says 7-8pm is when things are probably going to happen.

Absolutely perfect day on the river today. Took the boat out with a buddy and just floated and drank some beer. Just enough of a breeze to not have it not be dead still, but not enough to make it choppy.
