Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Well, at least I was able to have a 1 night stand with my bed. Flying up above the Mason Dixon today for a week(am I allowed to say that or does THAT offend somebody? ;)).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

The Mason-Dixon is actually just the border between Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. So you're good.

Good morning Lodge.

I'm leaving the office at noon today and heading for cityslickerville. The g family will be attending the Twins game tonight and tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to the game tomorrow as it's supposed to be hot and humid.

We will be parking in the basement of the federal building for the games. There is usually some interesting "stuff" for the boys to check out there.

The Federal Reserve Building or the Federal Courthouse? The FRB is closer to the field, but I didn't think it had parking. The courthouse has parking, but that seems like a fairly significant walk for you.

It is a long walk but the boys enjoy it. Little g has a wheel chair so it's no big deal to him. ;)

Even with my allergy meds that I've been taking daily since April, I'm still getting smacked with allergies today. This sucks like a hooker competing with a Hoover.

Cripes it's hot in the concrete jungle. So hot that I'm making my own gravy. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Its a beautiful 65 degree and partly cloudy evening in lovely Bogota. No humidity. If it wasn't for the smog, the climate here would be downright perfect.

Just got a bunch of information from the field, from the site we couldn't visit because of increased FARC threats, and the information is all very thorough, so we should be able to get everything we need from it. Distributor did a great job. Gave my boss an update and he said my next job is to go out and have fun and drink a bunch of aguardiente for him. So that's what the plan is. First stop, Bogota Beer Company.

Thought you'd all be interested to know that I'm watching hockey at the Comm Ave Classic. It was organized by a former BC player to raise money for ALS and Pete Frates (ice bucket challenge guy) is here. Former BU and BC guys playing each other. Suited up for the Terriers? Freddy Meyer.

BU would've had more NHL guys playing except this weekend is former Terrier Brandon Yop's wedding and all the guys from the 2009 national championship team are at the wedding. But that's not a coincidence or anything. 😄

About 80 (but humid) tomorrow. Sunday is the start of hell for the heat/humid combo.

Saw a hell of an ending tonight!

Had a great time out tonight. A very fun group of people some great places to eat/drink, a few bottles of aguardiente, and you have a great night. It was fan taking my 60 year old coworker out on the town, he had a great time like the rest of us, though part of it may have been that he was talking with 25 year old latinas all night.
