Good Morning Lodge.

There is remodeling going on somewhere in our building and the central court/atrium is doing a very good job of making sure the whole building hears the progress.

ETA: Jr turns 18 today - he can buy his own ammo now!

If there isn't a hockey trip planned for October-December, I think this would be the first year I haven't been up since 2005.

There is not one planned (yet). The one weekend that stood out for a brief moment was MSU in Jan, but IIRC, MN has home games that weekend, so no go.

I don't think I've missed a year since 2007.

Edit: And Jr can buy his own pron!

And go to the Indian casinos. That will likely be his first exercise of his majority. He's talked about it for a while. Not sure if any of his buddies are 18 yet, if so it could be a trip to Mystic Lake in the near future.

The Boston Crusaders performed with the Boston Pops at the Esplanade this weekend. It was outstanding.
Cool. I will have to go look that up

I saw that part. It was cool. Yes, I am a band geek.
Me too. One time at band camp....

Off the boat in roughly 7 hours. Been a (very) long 28 days, but an even longer past 14.
?

Inb4 one of the resident smart asses chimes in:

Silly Ralph, the days are still 24 hours long!
This made my brain hurt.

?

This made my brain hurt.

The captain has been on the past 2 weeks, and was full of stupidity and other stuff. More so than usual. The full 28 was long because we were on the move for 24-25 days of that, not much for chances to chill out and relax.

At Memphis airport now, 2.5 hours until I'm Florida-bound for all of about 18 hours.

So someone I went to elementary school and played Little League with is looking at a possible life sentence for bank robbery. #sagnasty

I've never followed up on people from my high school, but there's a list of guys for whom I expect that same sentence to be handed down at some point in their lives, for various reasons.

I went to private school, so I expect our future felons to predominately be convicted of money laundering, tax evasion, and/or fraud. ;)

It's 10 PM already? How the hell did THAT happen?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Yo.

Afternoon at work asploded at my building. I don't know what crawled up our customer base's arses, but they were all ordering from my building. Main building was slow all day. Thankfully, it went dead for the last hour, or I was in trouble. Streak for not going back to main building after I am done with my building has reached 2 weeks, though, so that's a bonus.

Crazy day in BogotaLand.

Busy working with the distributor all day, went from 8AM to 6PM straight. Got a bunch done and learned alot about the distributor's capability. Then we had to move to a new hotel across town (a more fun area for the weekend). Finally got out to dinner, with the President of the company, at 8:30. Dinner was amazing, and it was a huge affair that lasted a few hours. It was a blast. The people from the distributor were fun, the President guy was awesome, very genuine and passionate about his work. Chatted with him a bit about some work stuff, and it all went great. Its nice to have an opportunity to rub elbows with the big shots like that. Finally got back to the hotel at 11. And now I'm wiped out.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Getting off work at 2 today is looking grim. We have to have inventory finished, but we have been getting bombarded with work and no OT is allowed.
