Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Grill assembly complete. Probably should put it together, since it was a birthday present from 9 months ago.

Now, then. Let's see if I created a grill or an IED.

No earth-shattering ka-boom. It is indeed a grill.

And so help me God, if the birds try to take this one over, I will barbecue their asses right then and there.

Good Afternoon, Lodge!

Just got back from Kansas City. The hubby and I had a blast. The people there were the nicest people and were great hosts.

Next time will go fewer and bigger. Bought an assortment, some of which were cool, but too many small things that are just embarrassing to light.

So.....that's what the patriotic cake eating freaks are calling it these days.

I've never heard anything bad about KC. Have more than a few friends that made that baseball trip (hence my question about noticing the LEH-MOE-NADE! guy, on FB).

Lounged around, movie Sunday. Waiting for the supposed storms later tonight.

Stuff is literally developing over my house as I type this......not an exaggeration.

Not surprised. You get hit last night? Saw some stuff up north when checking the radar...

Nope. Not even a hint of anything.

Weather is nasty. Shiat literally developed from clear blue sky to storm in about 15 minutes.

Send that down here! It's still sunny 'round my area. Really humid, though. Conditions are prime.

Anyone go see Ted 2 yet?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Correct.

There has been a haze here in 320ville all week. On Friday it was bad. It made for some awesome sunrises and sunsets but that's about it.

Nice south wind today blew the Cannucklehead smoke home, eh. Was so hazy yesterday it was starting to look like LA.

We had it in northern Michigan too (presumably they still do). Could see the moon, but virtually no stars.
