There was a domestic situation about which my brother couldn't make clear, so my brother slept on my recliner and I didn't get to sleep at all because he snores like a freight train. I just took him home so he could go to work and now I'm going to bed. Called into work, told the boss I didn't get any sleep and would likely fall asleep at my desk.

Monster is correct. Add to that the hours you have to spend on the computer hunched over charting and it is a recipe for disaster.

Subscapularis. That's always a fun one to hit. I usually joke with my clients that they can cuss if they need to, but just don't say anything bad about my Mamma. Always good for a chuckle that helps to keep them breathing and relaxed enough to get to it. I've had several clients that I've had to work on them for several sessions before I got enough mobility with the scapula that I can actually get in under it to get to the subscapularis.

Dammit. It looks like I may have to travel to Corning, NY to deal with a ****ed off customer. ****ed off because an engine hasn't run since May, and the locals just escalated to us yesterday. :mad:

Time for Techies to find any flaws in the changes, and expose them!

I actually don't think a color change/logo change opens up anything, but I'm no Techie. I remember after the last upgrade, there was a hole in the code where you could change the site's background. Someone made it all pink. :D

That's the idea.

Have a boatload to do tomorrow before I set up camp at Surly tomorrow afternoon. I don't think I'll get to all of it, but gonna have to try. Have to pick up food and drink (N/A, like water and Monster), pack, clean, get my cash money for the weekend (event is cash only, plus cash for possible beer-trading), etc.

And I guess the 20 after USCHO signifies USCHO's 20th anniversary which sounds about right since it was around before the 1999 date that is the earliest anyone has for joining.

I was about to bring that up, thanks. I assume this place was a bboard or newsgroup of some kind prior to '99?

Oh, no worries les!

Got home about 20 minutes ago. Nice day! Fun evening.

While I was out... My boss emails me. We have two new people starting on our team to replace the two that left. One starts 11/2, one starts 11/9. My boss is going on vacation starting 11/9-ish. I am traveling. I've told her I will be traveling. She has told me I need to be going to these office events. I've booked my travel. Tonight she's like "oh, can't the agency go in your place?" No, they can't. I've booked travel. You're the one on vacation, I'm actually working. There are others in the department that can keep these new people busy till we get back.

IIRC, yes. They changed to this format in '99, if my memory is correct. I only know of that from the more senior members of the overall site.

I thought I was nuts. Green color when you hit reply, old color in the reply block, some nasty navy on the header. I thought maybe I had done something odd to the thing.

That is correct. We all had to re-register in July, 1999. Before that it was one giant board, where topics were not sorted by recent post, but strictly by the date of the original post. There wasn't much that was off-topic, nor was there a Cafe, or much of anything else, for that matter.

give it a week and we'll all be used to it. should take us all that long to get over the whole DAFUQ?? feeling looking at the new layout right now.
