Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

went with the girlfriend tonight to go see Gabriel Iglesias tonight at the Jackson County Fair. Holy hell is he funny. Dang near ****ed myself and I know I'm going to feel it from laughing too hard tomorrow. One of the vendors got too close to the stage and was distracting him because well, he likes food. He bought the guy out and had some kid there in the front row pass out his goods along the front row. He then sprays down the vendor with a diet pepsi because he tossed it, and then interacted with the kid through the rest of the show. He went over his time and started in on a couple of his old jokes with the whole crowd there yelling out the parts of his jokes with him.

Good Morning Lodge.

Sorry about lil g. Benadryl, I hear for that. And head straight to the shower after swimming in the lake this time of year.

3 more days until the weekend. I never thought it was possible to have a week of Tuesdays but now I know better.

It is a glorious day in 978 land. The garden after rain always looks good no matter how awful it is (or eaten by groundhogs- the little ba5tards!)

I'm currently enjoying a Lonely Blonde. Covertly of course because state parks do not allow alcohol. Not to mention I brought my own firewood. I'm bad. Bad to the bone. :)

State parks don't allow alcohol? Heh, breaking that rule this weekend. Saturday night we're meeting up with some of my wife's friends who are camping at a state park for a bit, then heading to a hotel because, you know, we have common sense. There will be alcohol involved.

I'm not much of a beer drinker. I picked up a couple six packs of Fulton. IMHO It's not bad. Not sure where it ranks with you beerologists but it does fine by me.

Fulton is good. Like many of their beers. Lonely blonde is ok, nothing amazing, but definitely a solid, well done beer. I like Sweet Child of Vine better, and several of their saisons.

Benadryl, lavender and calamine lotion have been used. Next on th list is Jack Daniels.

Swimmers' itch? The one time we had an outbreak, my uncle busted out paint thinner and put a thin coat on his legs. He swore it worked (grandma wouldn't let him try it on the kids :p).

Better. No sacrificing of cattle in the backyard by the neighbors last night, so I assume their guests went home.

Heading home after four days in Ralph's neck of the woods. In my seat for my flight home and seated next to a baby.
