Wow. Good luck to Scarlet and her dad. Scary stuff.

thirded. Hang in there. the waiting thing is always awful. My FIL was walking 4 miles a day, biking another 10 when he had his stents. The only thing that gave him warning was he couldn't keep up with his 80+ yr old GF when she was walking a long the beach (I couldn't keep up with her either!). He had some weird back pain that disappeared when he had the stents placed.

Fourthed for Papa Scarlet.

Gorgeous day here in 952-land. I am going to simply sit on the patio all night, have a couple beers, and probably try and find some sports to listen to on my Kindle.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #176 -- it's Mookie's world, we are just living in it

Thanks everyone. I really do appreciate it. We just got home. He's watching the Red Sox game now. Hopefully that won't cause him any further pain, ha ha. He's having discomfort in his chest and we had to tell him that a) he just had a procedure on his heart via a catheter that went up thru his arm so of course you'll have discomfort and b) he fell on cement so of course you're going to be sore. He probably pulled some muscles, maybe bruised a rib or something. I'm staying with my mom again tonight. We're both pretty beat.

Lovely night in MSP. Had dinner at Butcher and The Boar, then wandered around downtown. Ended up getting some drinks at Shout House, which was a blast, then got home at a decent time. Good night overall!

Good Morning Lodge.

My day to finish packing for the BWCA trip.

Went to a grad party last night. This girl was born the same day as Jr. She has been home schooled and was a year ahead of him - actually way more than a year. She has been taking classes at a local CC and actually got an AA at the same time as her high school diploma. She's going to a college in GE's hood - St. Kate's.

S'upp y'all

Wouldn't it be cheaper to be home college'd too :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #176 -- it's Mookie's world, we are just living in it

Good morning Lodge.

Breakfast has been served. French toast, bacon, fresh fruit, juice and coffee made via French press.

St. Kate's was close to my old hood as well. I used to live on Mount Curve Blvd in Highland Park. I really enjoyed that area of the metro. It was close to everything on either side of the river. If I had to live in the metro again that would be one of my first choices.

I don't recall the name but there was a dive bar right off Snelling close to st Kate's that I used to frequent. Good burgers.

Yo. It's Belmont day! Meeting up with a buddy to watch the race at the local watering hole.

Looks like it'll be another gorgeous day in 952-land.

Mount Curve...big shot! Plums?

Mount curve was/is a nice area. I bought a place and I got one hell of a deal on it. Bought low and sold high. :)

Plums does not sound familiar. If memory serves correct........If you walked out of the bar and took a left out the door it was maybe only a block or two down Snelling (bar was on same side of street as st Kate's) and then take another left and that was the road that st Kate's was on??????? Sort of a home town boy sports themed place.
