Had a great birthday. Much of it was due to bbdl and tPB's sister. Schlepped Vera and I all about the metro. Much fun was had.

Had a great time today, and now am wiped out. Got to finally check out the Surly taproom, and it was as awesome as advertised. Very cool building, huge beer hall area, and huge outdoor patio/garden space. The beer was good, and the food was nothing short of excellent. Like legitimate good food, not just good food for a taproom. First time I've ever ordered a charcuterie plate at a brewery, and it was one of the best ones I've had. The braunschweiger was to die for. Main dish of homemade merguez lamb sausages...obviously I'd highly recommend the place, and definitely get food.

Doing some application testing with end users (bane of my existence now). He was going to fail the app for testing because when he started entering numbers into a field they wouldn't appear on the screen but the letters would. I asked him to try again, watched the letters appear but not the numbers. He was using the 10-key keypad and didn't enable the Num Lock button. It's 2015, dumbazz, learn how to interface with a f(%$*@& PC. That's just one example of the nightmare that was this user. An all around ID-10t error.

Job hunting is busy right now! Currently in the a streak of having 4 interviews in 8 days. Not bad! Although I really want 2 of the 4 jobs...so there's that. Happy that the job I want is interviewing me on the day the job is closed online. Good sign

Has tUMD paperwork fiasco dealio had an impact on your search? From the article I read this weekend sounds like a major SNAFU by the school.

Yo. Work was slower today; I'm thinking it was just a blip and Tu-Thu will be busy before the long weekend. I can't imagine it'll be slow ALL week, although it's possible that people are starting to take their vacations already. Either way, I didn't mind.

My plan for re-doing my living room hit a couple snags, once I really starting doing all the measurements/layouts for what I wanted. So, I don't think I'll be doing any major re-furnishing. Just a couple tweaks here and there. Not sure how I feel about that yet as I was pretty stoked at what I originally had in mind.
