HAZMAT certified, again. Tedious BS tutorials, but necessary for my job. Gorgeous weekend for weather, and I was dumb enough to plan spring cleaning for tomorrow. At least there's the Derby.

Good morning Lodge. So, my mom and dad moved yesterday and given that I was slammed at work the last two days, I couldn't help them. And I feel terrible about that. I am going to help them today. They still have a bunch of stuff at the apartment they've moved out of. Will be meet them there at some point today.

I just found out that the house where I lived growing up is being sold by the people who bought it from my mother in 1978. They want slightly more than 10 times what they paid. I guess that isn't abnormal for 37 years. It was interesting looking at pictures of the interior of the house which I haven't seen since 1978.

How had things changed since you were a kid? Did they add electricity?

I feel the house shudder here every once in a while, then I remember that trains exist.

I've lived near train tracks darn near my whole life (even the ex's had train tracks across the street). I don't even notice anymore.

I never feel the small quakes we supposedly get here every few years, others swear they can.
