Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Holy ****. I'm not as young as I used to be. And I have 2 more days of this. Tulsa sucks, we're burning it to the ground. Training starts in 6 hours.

(My supervisor and the trainers were out with us...and actually, leading the group)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Good Morning, Lodge!

I was stuck at the Edina shop until noon yesterday, and then had to go to the new store in Woodbury to drop off the stuff from the Edina shop. Then Prescott. Edina screwed up what they needed to print and messed everything up which I get to have fun sorting out today. It is like playing 52 Pickup. On the plus side, the new store opened last night. Nice store. Now to play catch-up for the rest of the week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

I'm having one of the Tuesday-est Tuesdays.
Yep. I thought of you yesterday. Overslept and woke up with less than 30 minutes until I needed to be at work with a migraine. Walked in to one of the RNs out sick. She covers the afternoon, we have no providers then so that is when everything gets done. My student needed her paperwork faxed in- I didn't know about it. She also never told me it was her last day until I asked late in the afternoon. (Weird). Had to deal with acute patients, people calling me from the ER about patients, and an MA who flat out makes me crazy) interrupting me by calling into the room for stuff that was not urgent while not doing what I needed done that was more urgent  Getting ready to leave work and the receptionist asks me if I am going to the wake. What wake? no one told me one of the front office ladies had a family member die. Go to the wake am standing 2 people away from the casket (after hearing the guy was an a55hat to the lady I work with) and the Deacon stops everything to do a mini service. (usually don't they do that at the end? this was at 6? wake 4-8). Ended up there for >2 hrs. Got home to find that Mr les decided not to start dinner. It was 8:30 before anything was ready. Tuesday indeed.

At least nobody mentioned jack eichel to you :p

Good Morning Lodge.

Went to GE's town again this AM, partly to test the route to the new job that starts next week. Highway 5 that gets me across the river is down to one lane (knew that), then Kellog which I was going to use is closed, then the Wabasha bridge I was going to use is closed too. Sigh. Now I need to figure out an alternate route since it seems they don't want anyone traveling through downtown STP.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

I am so sick today. Got up about 9am to make coffee and literally almost passed out. Ugh. Crawling back to bed now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Out of the 6 of us that went out last night, I was easily the least hungover piece of **** today. Its the small things...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

I got home last night at 1:30 and was still awake at 2:15. The alarm went off at 6:50. We got done at 5:15 today.

I'm too tired to sleep right now. But it's over.

Wait until the start construction on Snelling in May.

Where is your gig? Once you get to the river 494 isn't too bad in the morning. When I had to drop the lad at The Academy I took that 94 to Mother Mining. Same with going the other way when I'd have to pick him up though all bets are off once you get into Bloomington & west. Throw in a raindrop and all bets are off....

Underachiever. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

For you MN's: yes, the west metro SUCKS for construction now. Thank Parise I know all the back roads. However, 494 has not had a rush hour in the evening this week (I can see it from my building). NO one is touching it. I find that hilarious.

Got talked up again by Big Boss today; they had visitors touring our buildings. Basically said I friggin' own the place, as to getting work done. :)

60 East Plato. I'm going to try Shepard Road again on Monday. I'll go to Sibley and double back on Kellogg to hit Robert. Even with having to weave around downtown to miss all the different projects it still only took me about 40-45 minutes this AM.

Can't tell you the best way to get there from the exclusive gated community but will tell you the Taco House is worth it for lunch. Love that place!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Well. Slept all of 1 hour tonight. Now my last shift, hopefully headed to the airport by daybreak, land in Tampa at 1:45, shuttle home, drop bags, shower, head back to downtown Tampa for pregame festivities, then game 1.

If the camera pans to a fan in a red Datsyuk jersey sleeping during the game, it'll probably be me. Hopefully Monster Energy and adrenaline gets me through.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Morning.

Happy "day after hell" to Hammer. I'm sure booze and sleep were on the agenda as celebration.
